Os navios &#8222;Basle Express&#8220; e &#8222;Essen Express&#8220; (foto), cada um com capacidade para 14.000 TEU, receberam ajustes nos motores principais e nos componentes do turbocompressor para reduzir o consumo de combust\u00edvel em cargas de motor mais baixas. Os testes em mar realizados e os dados operacionais subsequentes mostram economias superiores a 10 g\/kWh, o que corresponde a uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o do consumo total de 5% em determinadas faixas de carga.<\/p>\n<h3>Aumento de efici\u00eancia por meio de solu\u00e7\u00f5es personalizadas<\/h3>\n<p>A solu\u00e7\u00e3o EPLO personalizada da Accelleron e da HMS garante que os navios operados com velocidades de motor mais baixas, por exemplo, para atender \u00e0s exig\u00eancias de efici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica e reduzir os custos de carbono, funcionem da forma mais eficiente poss\u00edvel. Os dois navios da Hapag-Lloyd foram recentemente equipados com melhorias no casco e na h\u00e9lice para alcan\u00e7ar a velocidade necess\u00e1ria com significativamente menos energia.
