Com uma \u00e1rea de 70.000 m\u00b2, o centro visa atender \u00e0 crescente demanda no com\u00e9rcio direto ao consumidor (D2C). A implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema de rob\u00f4s Skypod e de uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o de automa\u00e7\u00e3o totalmente integrada tem como objetivo aumentar a efici\u00eancia e a densidade do armaz\u00e9m.<\/p>\n<h3>Aumento esperado da efici\u00eancia<\/h3>\n<p>O novo centro de fulfillment deve aumentar a capacidade de throughput em at\u00e9 50% e melhorar a densidade do armaz\u00e9m em 30%. Essas medidas s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rias, uma vez que a KDS espera um aumento significativo no volume de pacotes. Alguns clientes da empresa j\u00e1 gerenciam mais de 100.000 pacotes por m\u00eas. Para atender \u00e0s demandas dos clientes, a KDS busca solu\u00e7\u00f5es de automa\u00e7\u00e3o flex\u00edveis que sejam rapidamente escal\u00e1veis, especialmente em tempos de escassez de m\u00e3o de obra e aumento das exig\u00eancias dos consumidores.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Harris, presidente da KDS, comentou sobre os desafios: \u201cNossos clientes est\u00e3o crescendo rapidamente e esperam que cres\u00e7amos com eles. A solu\u00e7\u00e3o integrada inclui, al\u00e9m dos rob\u00f4s Skypod, transportadores, selagem de caixas, bem como escaneamento de entrada e sa\u00edda. O software Deepsky\u00ae da Exotec coordena toda a opera\u00e7\u00e3o em tempo real.<\/p>\n<p>Arthur Bellamy, Chief Revenue Officer da Exotec, destaca a relev\u00e2ncia da nova solu\u00e7\u00e3o:
