Os dois navios ser\u00e3o constru\u00eddos no estaleiro China Merchants Jinling em Nanjing e visam aumentar a capacidade e a flexibilidade no transporte de curta dist\u00e2ncia na Europa. Com este pedido, o n\u00famero total de navios em constru\u00e7\u00e3o passa para quatro.<\/p>\n<h3>Avan\u00e7os tecnol\u00f3gicos e aspectos ambientais<\/h3>\n<p>Os novos PCTCs ter\u00e3o capacidade de 3000 CEU cada e ser\u00e3o equipados com modernos motores h\u00edbridos de m\u00faltiplos combust\u00edveis. Esta tecnologia visa otimizar o consumo de combust\u00edvel e reduzir as emiss\u00f5es. Segundo Glenn Edvardsen, CEO da UECC, os novos navios representam um avan\u00e7o significativo em termos de seguran\u00e7a, efici\u00eancia e desempenho ambiental. Os navios tamb\u00e9m contar\u00e3o com uma constru\u00e7\u00e3o sem lastro, que reduz ainda mais o consumo de combust\u00edvel e possui sistemas de monitoramento de emiss\u00f5es em tempo real.<\/p>\n<p>Os navios ter\u00e3o nove decks e oferecer\u00e3o uma rampa de popa com capacidade de 160 t. Isso permitir\u00e1 o transporte de uma variedade de ve\u00edculos, bem como cargas pesadas e grandes que normalmente est\u00e3o fora do segmento t\u00edpico de PCTC. A entrega dos navios est\u00e1 prevista para o in\u00edcio de 2028.<\/p>\n<h3>Foco em seguran\u00e7a e solu\u00e7\u00f5es digitais<\/h3>\n<p>Uma preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o central no desenvolvimento dos novos navios foi a seguran\u00e7a. Edvardsen enfatiza que um conceito de seguran\u00e7a robusto foi implementado, melhorando o combate a inc\u00eandios e integrando capacidades de monitoramento e resposta ampliadas. Essas solu\u00e7\u00f5es digitais visam melhorar o desempenho e aumentar a transpar\u00eancia ao longo de toda a vida \u00fatil dos navios.<\/p>\n<p>Com este novo pedido, a UECC ter\u00e1 um total de nove PCTCs h\u00edbridos de m\u00faltiplos combust\u00edveis e dual-fuel LNG em sua frota, que est\u00e3o em opera\u00e7\u00e3o desde 2016. Esses navios tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o projetados para acomodar inova\u00e7\u00f5es tecnol\u00f3gicas futuras e combust\u00edveis alternativos.<\/p>\n<h3>Compromisso com a sustentabilidade<\/h3>\n<p>A UECC se comprometeu a reduzir o impacto ambiental participando de iniciativas como o programa \u201cSail for Change\u201d. Este programa permite que fabricantes de ve\u00edculos realizem economias significativas nas emiss\u00f5es de escopo 3.
