Estes guindastes s\u00e3o projetados para os maiores navios porta-cont\u00eaineres do mundo e representam um passo importante no \u00e2mbito do programa de moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o &#8222;Project Emerald&#8220;, conforme informado pela empresa. Com este investimento, o porto de Antu\u00e9rpia ser\u00e1 preparado para as exig\u00eancias do com\u00e9rcio global com grandes navios porta-cont\u00eaineres do futuro.<\/p>\n<p>Os novos guindastes STS s\u00e3o os maiores do seu tipo j\u00e1 encomendados para o porto. A sua instala\u00e7\u00e3o permitir\u00e1 atender a navios porta-cont\u00eaineres ultragrandes. Os guindastes alcan\u00e7am uma altura de 52 m e possuem um alcance de 71,8 m, o que, segundo a PSA Antwerpen, possibilita o manuseio de navios que podem transportar at\u00e9 26 cont\u00eaineres na largura.<\/p>\n<h3>Efici\u00eancia operacional e confiabilidade<\/h3>\n<p>Com uma capacidade de eleva\u00e7\u00e3o dupla de at\u00e9 112 t, os novos guindastes devem aumentar a efici\u00eancia operacional e a produtividade dos ber\u00e7os. Isso tamb\u00e9m deve ter um impacto positivo na confiabilidade do servi\u00e7o para os clientes da empresa.
