Este pedido segue a recente decis\u00e3o de isentar o transporte rodovi\u00e1rio de um mecanismo ETS paralelo, bem como a falta de regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es claras sobre o uso dos recursos coletados, conforme informado pela associa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<h3>Pedido por tratamento igualit\u00e1rio no com\u00e9rcio de emiss\u00f5es<\/h3>\n<p>Interferry exige que a obriga\u00e7\u00e3o de entrega de emiss\u00f5es no setor mar\u00edtimo seja congelada, por enquanto, no n\u00edvel de 70% previsto para 2025. O aumento planejado para 100% em 2026 deve ser suspenso. Mike Corrigan (na imagem), CEO da Interferry, enfatiza: \u201cEsta medida deve permanecer at\u00e9 que o transporte rodovi\u00e1rio tamb\u00e9m esteja integrado em um ETS e os recursos coletados sejam realmente utilizados para a descarboniza\u00e7\u00e3o do setor mar\u00edtimo.\u201d Ele pede \u00e0 UE que cumpra sua promessa de competi\u00e7\u00e3o justa e assegure que a pol\u00edtica clim\u00e1tica n\u00e3o sobrecarregue financeiramente o setor de transporte.<\/p>\n<p>Mais da metade da tonelagem bruta mundial de navios RoRo e de passageiros opera em \u00e1guas europeias, transportando anualmente 400 milh\u00f5es de passageiros e 200 milh\u00f5es de ve\u00edculos e cargas, segundo a associa\u00e7\u00e3o.
