O apresentador do evento, Steve Backshall, conhecido como apresentador de TV, aventureiro, autor e conservacionista, anunciou os nomes das nove empresas vencedoras e de duas pessoas not\u00e1veis em onze categorias.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Parker, diretor-geral da British International Freight Association (BIFA), destacou a alta qualidade das inscri\u00e7\u00f5es. Neste ano, 33 empresas de transporte chegaram \u00e0s listas finais nas nove categorias de servi\u00e7os, com sete delas recebendo reconhecimento em v\u00e1rias categorias. Durante o evento, tamb\u00e9m foram arrecadados 4.500 GBP para o parceiro de caridade da BIFA, a Transaid.<\/p>\n<h3>Vencedores em v\u00e1rias categorias<\/h3>\n<p>Na categoria &#8222;Air Freight Forwarder of the Year&#8220;, patrocinada pela IAG Cargo, a JCS Livestock superou a Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics, KLN Freight (UK) e Pro-Logist. A ALS Customs Services venceu na categoria &#8222;Customs Compliance Services&#8220; (patrocinada pela CNS) e se destacou em forte concorr\u00eancia com a EV Cargo Global Forwarding, Samphire Customs, Seafast Logistics e UK Customs Solutions.<\/p>\n<p>A Simpex Express foi eleita o melhor prestador de servi\u00e7os log\u00edsticos europeu do ano, superando a Brunel European, JPM Future e Transportify. Na categoria &#8222;Extra Mile&#8220;, patrocinada pela Descartes Systems, a Carousel Logistics venceu, enquanto Efret, JCS Livestock, Mercury Freight e UPS SCS tamb\u00e9m foram indicados.<\/p>\n<p>A DFDS Logistics triunfou na categoria &#8222;Project Forwarding&#8220; (patrocinada pela BT) e superou a Deugro (UK), DHL Global Forwarding e Killick Martin &amp; Co. A Denholm Good Logistics foi premiada como &#8222;Sea Freight Forwarder of the Year&#8220; e derrotou a KLN Freight (UK) e Rohlig UK. A Unsworth UK venceu na categoria &#8222;Staff Development&#8220; (patrocinada pela Albacore Systems) e deixou para tr\u00e1s a Ital Logistics, Metro Shipping, Neon Freight e Pro Carrier.<\/p>\n<p>Na categoria &#8222;Sustainable Logistics &amp; the Environment&#8220; (patrocinada pela American Airlines Cargo), a Freight Systems Express (Wales) foi coroada vencedora, seguida pela Baxter Freight, Carousel Logistics e DFDS Logistics. Na categoria &#8222;Value-Added Services&#8220; (patrocinada pela Menzies LLP), a IFE Global Logistics superou a Elite Logistics Consultants, HSM Global e Uniserve.<\/p>\n<h3>Pr\u00eamios individuais<\/h3>\n<p>Nas duas categorias para indiv\u00edduos, Veronika Litterova da Avocet Clearance foi eleita &#8222;Apprentice of the Year&#8220; (patrocinada pela World Insurance Services, Inc.). Ela superou concorrentes fortes como Dylan Cheesman e Nathan Brooks da Unsworth UK, al\u00e9m de Peter Boyd e Joseph Findlay da DHL Global Forwarding (UK).
