O senador Thierry Burkart, presidente central da ASTAG, se incomoda especialmente com a afirma\u00e7\u00e3o falsa de que os pre\u00e7os dos combust\u00edveis aumentaram: &#8220;Primeiro, isso n\u00e3o \u00e9 verdade, e segundo, convidamos os opositores a se unirem a n\u00f3s contra qualquer aumento no custo da mobilidade!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As maiores consequ\u00eancias s\u00e3o esperadas no abastecimento e na elimina\u00e7\u00e3o de res\u00edduos. No transporte interno dentro da Su\u00ed\u00e7a, 83 (!) por cento de todas as mercadorias s\u00e3o transportadas por estrada; a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o fina, portanto, funciona principalmente gra\u00e7as aos caminh\u00f5es \u2013 sem que a ferrovia tenha qualquer chance de ganhar mais participa\u00e7\u00e3o de mercado devido \u00e0 falta de conex\u00f5es ferrovi\u00e1rias. 73 por cento do transporte rodovi\u00e1rio, por sua vez, ocorre atrav\u00e9s das estradas nacionais.
