Segundo Mikkel Hippe Brun, cofundador e Vice-Presidente S\u00eanior da Tradeshift, a digitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o da cadeia de suprimentos \u00e9 um componente decisivo.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Kopenhague) A abordagem rigorosa da UE contra viola\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais e de direitos humanos na cadeia de suprimentos refor\u00e7a a afirma\u00e7\u00e3o de que ESG (Governan\u00e7a Ambiental, Social e Corporativa) \u00e9 a mais recente variante do &#8220;greenwashing&#8221; \u2013 uma cortina de fuma\u00e7a que parece boa no relat\u00f3rio anual de uma empresa, mas raramente traz benef\u00edcios reais. Na verdade, as raz\u00f5es para o fracasso das empresas na \u00e1rea de ESG tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o a raz\u00e3o pela qual a abordagem &#8220;apenas com a vara&#8221; tamb\u00e9m falhar\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>A falta de medidas ESG eficazes e em toda a ind\u00fastria n\u00e3o deve enganar ningu\u00e9m, pois muitas empresas t\u00eam o desejo sincero de tornar suas opera\u00e7\u00f5es mais \u00e9ticas e sustent\u00e1veis. O problema n\u00e3o \u00e9 a vontade, mas a forma como as cadeias de suprimentos funcionam h\u00e1 d\u00e9cadas. As rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre compradores e seus fornecedores ainda se baseiam predominantemente em documentos em papel. Isso torna praticamente imposs\u00edvel rastrear mercadorias e materiais atrav\u00e9s das muitas camadas das rela\u00e7\u00f5es de fornecimento at\u00e9 sua fonte. Em 2018, a Deloitte constatou que dois ter\u00e7os das empresas t\u00eam apenas uma vis\u00e3o limitada ou nenhuma vis\u00e3o de sua cadeia de suprimentos abaixo do primeiro n\u00edvel de fornecedores.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>A digitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o da cadeia de suprimentos leva a uma transpar\u00eancia significativamente maior<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>A verdade \u00e9 que nenhuma quantidade de &#8220;vara&#8221; na forma de pagamentos de compensa\u00e7\u00e3o for\u00e7ados resolver\u00e1 esse problema. A falta de transpar\u00eancia na cadeia de suprimentos dificulta que as autoridades reconhe\u00e7am at\u00e9 mesmo as mais grosseiras irregularidades. Se governos e empresas est\u00e3o realmente comprometidos em tornar as cadeias de suprimentos justas, sustent\u00e1veis e resilientes a longo prazo, eles precisam de dados abrangentes em tempo real sobre toda a rede de relacionamentos. E isso s\u00f3 pode ser alcan\u00e7ado com mais digitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o ao longo de toda a cadeia de suprimentos.<\/p>\n<p>Se a Uni\u00e3o Europeia ajudar as empresas a alcan\u00e7ar uma transpar\u00eancia total da cadeia de suprimentos por meio da digitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, elas descobrir\u00e3o que est\u00e3o batendo em portas abertas. H\u00e1 in\u00fameras e crescentes evid\u00eancias de que empresas que adotam a estrat\u00e9gia &#8220;fazer o bem fazendo o bem&#8221; est\u00e3o melhor preparadas para lidar com circunst\u00e2ncias adversas e apresentam um menor risco de investimento.
