Nos primeiros cinco meses do projeto piloto, a mudan\u00e7a para Bio-LNG evitou um total de 87 toneladas de CO<sub>2<\/sub>e. Isso corresponde \u00e0s emiss\u00f5es de um caminh\u00e3o a diesel em uma dist\u00e2ncia de mais de 89.900 quil\u00f4metros e representa uma economia de CO<sub>2<\/sub> de 85% em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com um motor a diesel tradicional.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Bonn) &#8220;A ind\u00fastria de log\u00edstica \u00e9 hoje respons\u00e1vel por cerca de onze por cento das emiss\u00f5es globais de CO<sub>2<\/sub>. Portanto, consideramos a solu\u00e7\u00e3o de combust\u00edvel sustent\u00e1vel proposta pela DHL Freight como um passo significativo na dire\u00e7\u00e3o certa para reduzir as emiss\u00f5es de CO<sub>2<\/sub> do transporte rodovi\u00e1rio&#8221;, diz St\u00e9phane Simonetta, Vice-Presidente Executivo do Grupo e COO da Grundfos.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Biog\u00e1s de res\u00edduos agr\u00edcolas<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>O g\u00e1s liquefeito biol\u00f3gico utilizado pela Shell neste projeto piloto \u00e9 produzido a partir de res\u00edduos agr\u00edcolas. Ele atende aos crit\u00e9rios da Diretiva de Energias Renov\u00e1veis (RED II) da Uni\u00e3o Europeia e \u00e9 um produto de uma economia circular sustent\u00e1vel. O projeto piloto j\u00e1 est\u00e1 em andamento h\u00e1 mais de cinco meses e continuar\u00e1 por cerca de um ano. A redu\u00e7\u00e3o das emiss\u00f5es ser\u00e1 atribu\u00edda ao cliente correspondente. Dessa forma, os clientes podem descarbonizar suas cadeias de suprimentos com sucesso.<\/p>\n<p>Fabian Ziegler, CEO da Shell Alemanha, diz: &#8220;Para n\u00f3s, a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de projetos piloto como este com clientes como a DHL n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas uma oportunidade excepcional para testar abordagens inovadoras e adquirir experi\u00eancias, mas tamb\u00e9m para impulsionar a descarboniza\u00e7\u00e3o da ind\u00fastria em conjunto, quando novos conceitos se provam eficazes e contribuem de forma econ\u00f4mica para as metas clim\u00e1ticas. Os resultados at\u00e9 agora do projeto piloto indicam que o Bio-LNG j\u00e1 pode reduzir as emiss\u00f5es de CO<sub>2<\/sub> hoje e, assim, contribuir para a redu\u00e7\u00e3o de gases de efeito estufa necess\u00e1rios para alcan\u00e7ar as metas clim\u00e1ticas da UE para 2030. A partir do in\u00edcio de 2022, todos os postos de combust\u00edveis da Shell na Holanda ter\u00e3o uma mistura de Bio-LNG dispon\u00edvel. Assim, todos os clientes ter\u00e3o a oportunidade de reduzir ainda mais suas emiss\u00f5es de CO<sub>2<\/sub>. A partir de 2023, a Shell pretende oferecer Bio-LNG em todos os seus postos de combust\u00edveis na Alemanha a partir de uma nova planta de liquefa\u00e7\u00e3o de g\u00e1s no parque de energia e qu\u00edmica da Shell em Rheinland. Sujeito \u00e0 concess\u00e3o oportuna das licen\u00e7as necess\u00e1rias, a empresa come\u00e7ar\u00e1 a constru\u00e7\u00e3o da planta de liquefa\u00e7\u00e3o ainda este ano. Com a produ\u00e7\u00e3o anual da planta de 100.000 toneladas de Bio-LNG, o setor de transporte rodovi\u00e1rio poderia reduzir sua pegada de CO<sub>2<\/sub> em at\u00e9 um milh\u00e3o de toneladas de CO<sub>2<\/sub> por ano.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Biocombust\u00edveis s\u00e3o parte da estrat\u00e9gia de sustentabilidade<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>O uso de biocombust\u00edveis sustent\u00e1veis no transporte rodovi\u00e1rio \u00e9 parte da estrat\u00e9gia de sustentabilidade do Deutsche Post DHL Group. De acordo com o recente roteiro de sustentabilidade publicado pelo grupo, at\u00e9 2030, sete bilh\u00f5es de euros ser\u00e3o investidos em solu\u00e7\u00f5es log\u00edsticas clim\u00e1ticamente neutras. Al\u00e9m disso, at\u00e9 2030, pelo menos 30% da demanda de combust\u00edveis no transporte a\u00e9reo e rodovi\u00e1rio deve ser atendida por combust\u00edveis sustent\u00e1veis.
