Ap\u00f3s a mudan\u00e7a para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de autom\u00f3veis, Hartmut Schick trabalhou a partir de 1990 na \u00e1rea de marketing da DASA em Munique. Em 1993, ele assumiu a lideran\u00e7a do secretariado principal e do escrit\u00f3rio do presidente do conselho. Como chefe do departamento de planejamento do presidente do conselho da Daimler-Benz AG, Hartmut Schick retornou a Stuttgart em 1995. Em 1997, ele foi encarregado de estabelecer a f\u00e1brica da Mercedes-Benz em Juiz de Fora (Brasil) como chefe de produ\u00e7\u00e3o e log\u00edstica. Em 1999, ele liderou a equipe do CEO da DaimlerChrysler. Em 2007, ele assumiu a lideran\u00e7a de projetos estrat\u00e9gicos para o caminh\u00e3o Mercedes-Benz Atego.
