A companhia de ferry alem\u00e3-dinamarquesa Scandlines d\u00e1 um toque especial ao evento de anivers\u00e1rio: com quase 170 metros de comprimento e cerca de 25 metros de largura, o ferry h\u00edbrido<\/p>\n<p>(Hamburgo\/Rostock) Desde maio de 2020, a vela rotativa, que \u00e0 dist\u00e2ncia lembra mais uma chamin\u00e9, est\u00e1 instalada na Copenhagen \u2013 e parece exatamente o oposto: A vela rotativa da empresa finlandesa Norsepower reduz significativamente as emiss\u00f5es de CO<sub>2<\/sub> do ferry h\u00edbrido em at\u00e9 quatro a cinco por cento na rota entre Rostock e Gedser.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Ap\u00f3s quase 100 anos, o rotor Flettner retorna ao norte da Alemanha<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>A inovadora t\u00e9cnica de vela da vela rotativa baseia-se no conceito de quase 100 anos da tecnologia do rotor Flettner: quando o vento atinge o cilindro rotativo, ele \u00e9 acelerado de um lado e desacelerado do outro lado do corpo. A diferen\u00e7a na velocidade do vento gera uma diferen\u00e7a de press\u00e3o, que cria uma for\u00e7a perpendicular ao vento \u2013 o chamado efeito Magnus. Este efeito ajuda a mover o navio para frente em vento lateral. O engenheiro Anton Flettner j\u00e1 come\u00e7ou a testar sua inven\u00e7\u00e3o do rotor Flettner em 1924: em Kiel, ele transformou navios em veleiros rotativos e realizou in\u00fameras viagens de teste e demonstra\u00e7\u00e3o, at\u00e9 internacionais. Infelizmente, esses n\u00e3o se estabeleceram na \u00e9poca, pois eram inadequados como propuls\u00e3o \u00fanica em calmaria. Assim, essa t\u00e9cnica foi substitu\u00edda por m\u00e1quinas a vapor e motores a diesel e caiu no esquecimento. A Scandlines agora aposta novamente na efici\u00eancia do esp\u00edrito inventivo de Flettner ap\u00f3s quase um s\u00e9culo: a vela rotativa da Norsepower \u00e9 uma tecnologia mar\u00edtima de vento pronta para aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, para a qual as condi\u00e7\u00f5es de vento ideais prevalecem na rota da Scandlines, tornando o benef\u00edcio comercial evidente.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13294 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/transportjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/Scandlines_3.8.21_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1568\" height=\"740\" \/><\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>Com vela rotativa e propuls\u00e3o h\u00edbrida em dire\u00e7\u00e3o a uma navega\u00e7\u00e3o de ferry verde<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>O maior &#8220;navio \u00e0 vela&#8221; que pode ser visto durante a Hanse Sail n\u00e3o se destaca apenas por sua \u00fanica vela rotativa, mas tamb\u00e9m por muitas outras medidas de prote\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica: seu sistema h\u00edbrido inclui, como em outros navios da Scandlines, al\u00e9m dos geradores a diesel, tamb\u00e9m uma propuls\u00e3o el\u00e9trica. Um pacote de baterias complementa a propuls\u00e3o e pode armazenar energia excedente diretamente a bordo e utiliz\u00e1-la novamente para propuls\u00e3o quando necess\u00e1rio. Com a convers\u00e3o de ferries a diesel tradicionais para modernos navios h\u00edbridos, o consumo de combust\u00edvel na linha de ferry foi significativamente reduzido e, assim, as emiss\u00f5es de CO<sub>2<\/sub> tamb\u00e9m foram diminu\u00eddas. Em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os antigos navios, hoje \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio apenas cerca de um ter\u00e7o do combust\u00edvel para o ferry por carro transportado. Al\u00e9m disso, o ferry utiliza propulsores que economizam energia e s\u00e3o silenciosos, gerando menos ru\u00eddo subaqu\u00e1tico. Assim, a vida marinha \u00e9 menos perturbada \u2013 o que \u00e9 especialmente apreciado pelos golfinhos que est\u00e3o se tornando mais comuns no Mar B\u00e1ltico.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Esta\u00e7\u00f5es de carregamento gratuitas no BorderShop<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Para um futuro sustent\u00e1vel, a Scandlines est\u00e1 investindo em muitos outros grandes e pequenos projetos em dire\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 prote\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental e clim\u00e1tica: a companhia de navega\u00e7\u00e3o apoia, entre outras coisas, os objetivos de sustentabilidade da ONU.
