Ao mesmo tempo, os respons\u00e1veis nas empresas portu\u00e1rias se mostram c\u00e9ticos quanto \u00e0 proposta da UE para a expans\u00e3o da energia el\u00e9trica em terra, se esta \u00e9 a abordagem correta para reduzir as emiss\u00f5es da navega\u00e7\u00e3o de forma sustent\u00e1vel.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Hamburgo\/Rostock) Diz literalmente no documento de posi\u00e7\u00e3o assinado por todas as empresas portu\u00e1rias &#8216;ZeroEmission@Berth&#8217;: &#8220;Instala\u00e7\u00f5es de energia el\u00e9trica conectadas \u00e0 rede podem ser uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o eficaz para a redu\u00e7\u00e3o de emiss\u00f5es de navios de mar e de interior durante o tempo de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o no porto, se forem operadas com 100% de energia renov\u00e1vel, mas n\u00e3o para todos os portos, n\u00e3o para todos os locais de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o e n\u00e3o para todos os navios.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A proposta da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia resultaria em gastos bilion\u00e1rios apenas nas cerca de 550 vagas para navios de mar nos portos alem\u00e3es para instala\u00e7\u00f5es de energia el\u00e9trica em terra. Esses custos teriam que ser suportados pelos contribuintes e pelos portos operados privadamente, sem que os operadores de navios, que s\u00e3o os respons\u00e1veis pelas emiss\u00f5es emitidas, estivessem substancialmente envolvidos. Ao mesmo tempo, apenas navios selecionados teriam que utilizar as instala\u00e7\u00f5es dispon\u00edveis. Assim, a situa\u00e7\u00e3o surgiria em que, em um local de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o com instala\u00e7\u00e3o de energia el\u00e9trica em terra, um navio teria que usar energia el\u00e9trica em terra, enquanto outro navio, n\u00e3o regulamentado, poderia continuar a queimar combust\u00edveis f\u00f3sseis.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>At\u00e9 2030, zero emiss\u00f5es no local de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Em julho de 2021, a Comiss\u00e3o Europeia publicou o &#8220;Pacote Fit for 55&#8221; com o objetivo de reduzir as emiss\u00f5es l\u00edquidas de gases de efeito estufa em pelo menos 55% at\u00e9 2030 em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a 1990. Nele, s\u00e3o feitas diretrizes concretas para navios no local de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o. A partir de 2030, certos tipos de navios dever\u00e3o ser obrigados a ter zero emiss\u00f5es no local de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o, sendo a energia el\u00e9trica em terra, baterias e c\u00e9lulas de combust\u00edvel definidas como poss\u00edveis solu\u00e7\u00f5es. Essa abordagem \u00e9 apoiada pelos portos mar\u00edtimos alem\u00e3es, mas deve ser fundamentalmente aberta \u00e0 tecnologia, para permitir, por exemplo, o uso de combust\u00edveis de energias renov\u00e1veis. Esses combust\u00edveis oferecem a possibilidade de reduzir as emiss\u00f5es de CO2 e poluentes atmosf\u00e9ricos n\u00e3o apenas no local de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o, mas tamb\u00e9m durante a navega\u00e7\u00e3o e, assim, em uma medida muito mais significativa. Cerca de 95% das emiss\u00f5es provenientes da navega\u00e7\u00e3o ocorrem durante a navega\u00e7\u00e3o. Apenas cinco por cento podem ser atribu\u00eddos \u00e0 perman\u00eancia no porto.<\/p>\n<p>No documento de posi\u00e7\u00e3o, os portos mar\u00edtimos alem\u00e3es oferecem \u00e0 navega\u00e7\u00e3o a oportunidade de buscar solu\u00e7\u00f5es conjuntas para um tempo de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o sem emiss\u00f5es, al\u00e9m das instala\u00e7\u00f5es de energia el\u00e9trica conectadas \u00e0 rede.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>ROSTOCK PORT apoia uma abordagem aberta \u00e0 tecnologia<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;ROSTOCK PORT apoia uma abordagem aberta \u00e0 tecnologia e escal\u00e1vel em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao fornecimento de energia livre de CO2 ou neutra para navios durante o tempo de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o no porto. As solu\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas devem ser projetadas de forma a tamb\u00e9m se orientar para todo o balan\u00e7o de emiss\u00f5es do navio e promover o caminho para a navega\u00e7\u00e3o sem emiss\u00f5es. Diferentes solu\u00e7\u00f5es de energia el\u00e9trica em terra, uso de combust\u00edveis sint\u00e9ticos e opera\u00e7\u00e3o com baterias no transporte mar\u00edtimo s\u00e3o poss\u00edveis e j\u00e1 est\u00e3o sendo testadas e aplicadas em Rostock. Queremos, com a iniciativa &#8216;ZeroEmission@Berth&#8217;, acelerar ainda mais esse processo e contribuir como um impulsionador para solu\u00e7\u00f5es conjuntas&#8221;, disse Jens A. Scharner, diretor executivo da ROSTOCK PORT.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Competi\u00e7\u00e3o de inova\u00e7\u00f5es come\u00e7a em fevereiro<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Para encontrar e conhecer conceitos adequados, ser\u00e1 lan\u00e7ada uma competi\u00e7\u00e3o de inova\u00e7\u00f5es. Com isso, os portos mar\u00edtimos alem\u00e3es buscam conjuntamente ideias inovadoras, conceitos e abordagens de solu\u00e7\u00f5es abertas \u00e0 tecnologia, que mostrem alternativas \u00e0s instala\u00e7\u00f5es de energia el\u00e9trica em terra, abordagens de fornecimento de energia para navios no local de atraca\u00e7\u00e3o e que, possivelmente, tamb\u00e9m possam contribuir para a redu\u00e7\u00e3o de emiss\u00f5es durante a navega\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>A competi\u00e7\u00e3o de inova\u00e7\u00f5es come\u00e7ar\u00e1 em fevereiro de 2022. O j\u00fari de sete membros ser\u00e1 composto por representantes de armadoras, associa\u00e7\u00f5es e ci\u00eancia.
