Atualmente, 300 novas locomotivas de manobra e de dupla tra\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e3o a caminho da DB Cargo. As primeiras locomotivas devem ser utilizadas j\u00e1 no pr\u00f3ximo ano. A longo prazo, trata-se da substitui\u00e7\u00e3o de cerca de 900 locomotivas a diesel de modelos mais antigos.<\/h5>\n<p>A DB Cargo encomenda 200 locomotivas com tecnologia de propuls\u00e3o inovadora para o final do ano. &#8220;Estamos a investir na nossa frota de locomotivas porque vamos crescer. Com a tecnologia mais moderna, ajudamos a alcan\u00e7ar as metas clim\u00e1ticas no transporte. As novas m\u00e1quinas s\u00e3o constru\u00eddas como h\u00edbridas plug-in, mas tamb\u00e9m possuem pot\u00eancia de motor suficiente com o mais moderno sistema de purifica\u00e7\u00e3o de gases de escape para mover trens de carga pesados de v\u00e1rias toneladas em opera\u00e7\u00f5es de manobra. Os sistemas de propuls\u00e3o s\u00e3o modulares e podem ser facilmente trocados com o desenvolvimento t\u00e9cnico adequado. A introdu\u00e7\u00e3o desta tecnologia inovadora \u00e9 apoiada pelo governo atrav\u00e9s da diretriz de promo\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas de propuls\u00e3o alternativos no transporte ferrovi\u00e1rio do Minist\u00e9rio Federal de Digital e Transporte, com um total de 15 milh\u00f5es de euros. As 50 locomotivas devem ser utilizadas pela DB Cargo a partir de 2024.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16799\" style=\"width: 1421px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16799\" class=\"wp-image-16799 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/transportjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/DB_Cargo_18.1.22_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1411\" height=\"722\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-16799\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">50 locomotivas da Vossloh Locomotives devem ser utilizadas pela DB Cargo a partir de 2024.<\/p><\/div>\n<h5><strong>As locomotivas de dupla tra\u00e7\u00e3o oferecem o melhor de dois mundos<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Com um potente motor el\u00e9trico, trens de carga pesados podem ser movidos por longas dist\u00e2ncias &#8220;sob fios de eletricidade&#8221;. Se faltar esse fio el\u00e9trico em ramais secund\u00e1rios ou na entrega nas instala\u00e7\u00f5es dos clientes, n\u00e3o \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio trocar a locomotiva ou o maquinista: apenas o sistema de propuls\u00e3o precisa ser alternado. H\u00e1 mais de um ano, o fabricante Siemens Mobility conseguiu vencer uma licita\u00e7\u00e3o da DB com locomotivas do tipo Vectron Dual Mode. Agora, a entrega inicial de 2023 ser\u00e1 aumentada de 100 para cerca de 150 locomotivas. Al\u00e9m disso, 46 locomotivas adicionais ser\u00e3o equipadas com adapta\u00e7\u00f5es espec\u00edficas para o espectro de uso planejado pela DB Cargo, e quatro m\u00e1quinas ser\u00e3o adquiridas pelo grupo de constru\u00e7\u00e3o ferrovi\u00e1ria da DB.<\/p>\n<p>A terceira coluna da nova estrat\u00e9gia \u00e9 a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de locomotivas de manobra h\u00edbridas Toshiba HDB 800.
