A expans\u00e3o do canal n\u00e3o s\u00f3 fortalece a economia em Schleswig-Holstein e no Norte da Europa, mas tamb\u00e9m contribui para a prote\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica, afirma o Ministro Federal dos Transportes Andreas Scheuer.<\/p>\n<p>(Berlim\/Kiel) O NOK \u00e9 a via naveg\u00e1vel artificial mais movimentada do mundo. Com 30.000 passagens de navios anualmente, regista quase o dobro de embarca\u00e7\u00f5es do que o Canal de Suez. Com o in\u00edcio oficial da primeira fase de expans\u00e3o da rota leste, hoje \u00e9 lan\u00e7ado um grande projeto para a via naveg\u00e1vel federal: o governo investir\u00e1 500 milh\u00f5es de euros nos pr\u00f3ximos dez anos na se\u00e7\u00e3o de 20 quil\u00f3metros entre Kiel e Gro\u00dfk\u00f6nigsf\u00f6rde, num total de mais de 2,6 mil milh\u00f5es de euros para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o e expans\u00e3o do canal \u2013 mais do que em qualquer outra via naveg\u00e1vel federal.<\/p>\n<p>O Ministro Federal dos Transportes Andreas Scheuer: &#8220;A expans\u00e3o do \u00faltimo ponto cr\u00edtico do Canal do Norte do Mar B\u00e1ltico levar\u00e1 a melhorias significativas para a navega\u00e7\u00e3o internacional. Hoje, o canal j\u00e1 \u00e9 uma parte essencial das rotas de transporte globais. As vantagens do NOK s\u00e3o evidentes: menos custos, menos tempo de viagem e menos CO2. Cada investimento no NOK \u00e9, portanto, uma prote\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica ativa e fortalece a economia alem\u00e3.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>O NOK \u00e9 a art\u00e9ria vital do Norte da Europa<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>O Primeiro-Ministro de Schleswig-Holstein, Daniel G\u00fcnther: &#8220;Com o in\u00edcio de hoje, come\u00e7a uma importante etapa de expans\u00e3o do Canal do Norte do Mar B\u00e1ltico. O NOK \u00e9 uma art\u00e9ria vital para n\u00f3s em Schleswig-Holstein e para toda a economia, especialmente no Norte da Europa. Ele conecta o Mar do Norte e o Mar B\u00e1ltico, unindo \u00e1reas econ\u00f4micas. A expans\u00e3o avan\u00e7a com a nova c\u00e2mara de eclusa em Brunsb\u00fcttel e a se\u00e7\u00e3o da rota leste, finalmente come\u00e7ando a t\u00e3o esperada navega\u00e7\u00e3o.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Heinrich Witte, Presidente da GDWS: &#8220;A expans\u00e3o da rota leste \u00e9 um grande projeto ambicioso, que, juntamente com os outros projetos de canal em andamento, \u00e9 uma condi\u00e7\u00e3o para uma via naveg\u00e1vel eficiente. Na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o da obra, foram encontradas boas solu\u00e7\u00f5es para as preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es dos residentes e do meio ambiente.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Diversos grupos de interesse considerados no planejamento<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>No planejamento, foram consideradas as mais diversas interesses: do governo federal e estadual, dos distritos e munic\u00edpios, dos residentes e armadores, dos agricultores e defensores do meio ambiente. Por exemplo, haver\u00e1 um caminho lateral cont\u00ednuo que ciclistas e pedestres poder\u00e3o utilizar.
