Volgens een onderzoek van Transport Intelligence, uitgevoerd in opdracht van de Indiase logistieke IT-dienstverlener Kal\u00e9 Logistics, meldt 63,1% van de gebruikers dat de voordelen van implementatie de kosten overstijgen. Een bedrijf gaf aan jaarlijkse besparingen van 2,1 miljoen USD te hebben gerealiseerd.<\/p>\n<p>De studie benadrukt dat 68,2% van de respondenten een verbeterde samenwerking tussen de actoren in de luchtvracht heeft ervaren. Bovendien meldde 59,1% een hogere zichtbaarheid van de toeleveringsketen. Deze resultaten onderstrepen de commerci\u00eble waarde die ACCS voor bedrijven in de luchtvrachtsector kunnen bieden.<\/p>\n<h3>Inzichten over digitale transformatie<\/h3>\n<p>Amar More, CEO en medeoprichter van Kal\u00e9, benadrukt: \u201eOrganisaties die al gebruikmaken van Air Cargo Community Systems melden meetbare voordelen. Vooral opmerkelijk is dat ook bedrijven die de technologie nog niet hebben ge\u00efmplementeerd, de waarde ervan erkennen.\u201d Hij voegt eraan toe dat de vraag niet meer is of ACCS werken, maar hoe snel bedrijven deze systemen kunnen implementeren om van de voordelen te profiteren.<\/p>\n<p>De studie toont ook aan dat 62% van de niet-gebruikers vreest dat het uitblijven van de implementatie van ACCS hun concurrentievermogen binnen 24 maanden zal verminderen. 60,5% van de respondenten verwacht dat de operationele kosten zullen stijgen als de digitale transformatie wordt vertraagd.<\/p>\n<p>Een ander resultaat van het onderzoek is dat 46% van de organisaties nog steeds voornamelijk afhankelijk is van e-mail of FTP om informatie met externe partners uit te wisselen. Dit benadrukt het aanhoudende gebruik van gefragmenteerde communicatiemethoden binnen de luchtvracht toeleveringsketen.<\/p>\n<p>Viki Keckarovska, Research Manager bij Transport Intelligence, legt uit: \u201eDe luchtvracht is een van de meest tijdkritische sectoren ter wereld, toch vertrouwen veel organisaties op gescheiden processen om operationele informatie uit te wisselen.\u201d Ze benadrukt dat de studie de commerci\u00eble voordelen van Air Cargo Community Systems nu ondersteunt met operationele bewijzen.<\/p>\n<h3>Oproep tot uniforme standaarden<\/h3>\n<p>De resultaten van de studie werden gepresenteerd tijdens een virtueel evenement, waaraan ook TIACA-directeur Glyn Hughes en Nico de Cauwer, secretaris-generaal van de International Port Community System Association, deelnamen. Hughes benadrukt:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201eDit onderzoek toont aan dat digitalisering al meetbare voordelen in de luchtvrachtsector oplevert, van sterkere samenwerking tot betere zichtbaarheid en lagere operationele kosten.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hij roept de sector op om verder te kijken dan ge\u00efsoleerde systemen en zich te verbinden aan gezamenlijke standaarden, verbonden
