De voertuigfabrikant richt zich daarbij op bedrijven met kleinere vloten en de bouwsector. Om de effici\u00ebntie en milieuvriendelijkheid van zijn voertuigen te verhogen, vertrouwt Ford Trucks op de retarder-technologie van het bedrijf Driventic, zoals de leverancier van aandrijftechnologie\u00ebn meldt.<\/p>\n<h3>Partnerschap met Driventic<\/h3>\n<p>Driventic, een bedrijf dat voortkomt uit de aandrijfdivisie van het technologieconcern Voith, is al jarenlang partner van Ford Trucks voor de levering van retarders. Deze technologie wordt toegepast in de Ecotorq-transmissie, die door Ford zelf is ontwikkeld en geproduceerd. Sinds 2021 zijn er al meer dan 10.000 Ford Trucks uitgerust met de R 115CT-retarders van Driventic.<\/p>\n<p>De hydrodynamische retarders van Driventic stellen volgens de fabrikant in staat dat bussen en vrachtwagens ongeveer 90 procent van alle remhandelingen zonder slijtage kunnen uitvoeren. Deze technologie zou de bedrijfsremmen ontlasten en daarmee de kosten voor vervangingsonderdelen en onderhoud verlagen. Bovendien zouden de retarders een veiligheidsvoordeel bieden: in kritieke rijomstandigheden, zoals bij aanpassingsremmen op de snelweg of lange afdalingen, kunnen traditionele wrijvingsremmen hoge temperaturen bereiken, wat hun remprestaties be\u00efnvloedt. In tegenstelling tot dat blijven de bedrijfsremmen volgens Driventic koel bij het gebruik van de retarder en kunnen ze in noodsituaties met volle kracht worden ingezet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.driventic.com\/de-de\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.driventic.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ford Trucks vertrouwt al jaren op de retarder-technologie van Driventic.
