AIT Worldwide Logistics heeft Justin Kosslyn aangesteld als Chief Digital and Technology Officer. In deze nieuw gecre\u00eberde functie zal Kosslyn rechtstreeks rapporteren aan de president en COO Keith Tholan en de wereldwijde technologie-strategie van het bedrijf leiden. Het doel is om de bestaande digitale transformatie van AIT verder te bevorderen en de volgende generatie ge\u00efntegreerde digitale, data-gedreven, AI-ondersteunde en klantgerichte systemen te implementeren.<\/p>\n

Keith Tholan sprak zich uit over de aanstelling van Kosslyn en benadrukte zijn uitgebreide ervaring in de technologiesector. „Justin brengt een toekomstgerichte visie mee die AIT kan helpen de volgende evolutie van logistiek vorm te geven,“ zei Tholan. Kosslyn’s achtergrond in de ontwikkeling van digitale producten en het leiden van technische teams zal de reeds aanwezige expertise in logistiek, infrastructuur, cyberbeveiliging, data en AI bij AIT aanvullen.<\/p>\n

De toevoeging van Kosslyn aan het managementteam is bedoeld om de technologische basis van AIT te versterken en een uitgebreide digitale transformatie te bevorderen. Deze transformatie is gericht op het verenigen van een breed scala aan verzenders en partners wereldwijd. Tholan benadrukte dat AIT zich heeft gevestigd als een pionier in de expeditiesector en ziet in de voortschrijdende digitalisering een kans om klanten te helpen bij het aanpakken van complexe uitdagingen.<\/p>\n

Kosslyn brengt meer dan 15 jaar ervaring mee in het leiden van krachtige technische teams. Voorheen bekleedde hij leidinggevende posities bij Google, waar hij het productbeheer voor het nieuwsnetwerk van het bedrijf leidde en platforms zoals Google Trends en Search Console superviseerde. Daarvoor werkte hij een decennium bij Google Jigsaw, waar hij tools ontwikkelde ter verbetering van de digitale en informatiebeveiliging.<\/p>\n

Vaughn Moore, voorzitter en Chief Executive Officer van AIT, verklaarde dat de aanstelling van Kosslyn de toekomstgerichte strategie van het bedrijf weerspiegelt. „Door zijn aanstelling in deze nieuwe rol is het bedrijf in staat om de sector verder te ontwrichten en een nieuwe standaard voor logistieke technologie te zetten,“ aldus Moore.<\/p>\n

In zijn nieuwe rol zal Kosslyn de technologie-enablementsstrategie van AIT bevorderen, inclusief de verdere ontwikkeling van het wereldwijde transportmanagementsysteem en de bredere digitale transformatie-inspanningen. Hij zal ook de implementatie van AI binnen het bedrijf ondersteunen om beslissingen te bevorderen en klanten meerwaarde te bieden. Kosslyn’s leiderschap moet helpen de afstemming over het technologische landschap van AIT te versterken en medewerkers tools te bieden die effici\u00ebntie, connectiviteit, transparantie en klantenservice verbeteren.<\/p>\n

„AIT heeft de mogelijkheid om technologie niet alleen te gebruiken ter verbetering van de wereldwijde logistiek, maar ook om een nieuwe maatstaf voor de hele sector te zetten,“ zei Kosslyn. Hij kijkt ernaar uit om samen te werken met de teams binnen het bedrijf om praktische en flexibele digitale oplossingen te ontwikkelen die maximale impact hebben.<\/p>\n
