Deze investeringen zijn bedoeld om nieuwe exportmogelijkheden te ontsluiten, de veerkracht van de toeleveringsketens te versterken en langdurige economische groei in de regio te bevorderen.<\/p>\n<h3>Strategische ontwikkeling in Gladstone<\/h3>\n<p>In het kader van Project Velocity plant IPG de bouw van een binnenhaven en spoorhaven in Calliope, een koel- en reefercontainerfaciliteit van 48.000 m\u00b2 en een industriepark voor geavanceerde productie. Daarnaast zal de infrastructuur voor hernieuwbare energie worden uitgebreid en zullen de maritieme diensten naar Azi\u00eb worden vergroot. Donald benadrukt dat Gladstone strategisch gelegen is om als internationaal vrachtcentrum te fungeren, vooral gezien de groeiende handelsvolumes en de bijbehorende uitdagingen voor de bestaande vracht- en logistieke netwerken in Australi\u00eb.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eGladstone is een van de beste diepzeehavens in Australi\u00eb en is goed gepositioneerd om deze mega-cargoschepen (Ultra Large Container Vessels) effici\u00ebnt te ontvangen\u201c, verklaarde Donald.
