De nieuwe locatie omvat een gekoelde overslaghal die speciaal is ontworpen voor de levensmiddelenlogistiek. Tegelijkertijd is de ruimte voor industrie- en consumptiegoederen op de locatie vergroot, meldt het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<h3>Infrastructuur voor de levensmiddelenlogistiek<\/h3>\n<p>Het centrale element van de investering is een overslaghal met een oppervlakte van ongeveer 3.200 m\u00b2, die is ontworpen voor temperaturen tussen 2 en 7 graden Celsius. In deze hal worden verschillende levensmiddelen, waaronder vlees- en worstwaren, zuivelproducten, wijn, sterke dranken en bakwaren, omgeslagen. De nieuwe hal beschikt over 32 laad- en lospoorten die een laad- en losproces mogelijk maken. Met deze uitbreiding breidt de Business Line Food Logistics van DACHSER zijn activiteiten nu ook uit naar Freiburg. Het bedrijf is naar eigen zeggen actief in de levensmiddelenlogistiek in tien landen en bedient via het &#8222;European Food Network&#8220; in totaal 34 landen. In 2025 behaalde de Business Line een totale omzet van 1,8 miljard euro.<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast is in het kader van de bouwwerkzaamheden de oppervlakte voor de overslag van industri\u00eble goederen vergroot. Dit gedeelte van de nieuwbouw beslaat 2.700 m\u00b2 en is uitgerust met acht laad- en lospoorten. De bouwkundige verbinding tussen de nieuwe en de bestaande overslaghal moet volgens DACHSER een naadloze integratie van de processen mogelijk maken. De ingebruikname van de nieuwe infrastructuur begon begin juni.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dachser.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
