Dit is de vierde locatie van het bedrijf in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en moet de marktpositie van de groep verder versterken. Met een totale oppervlakte van meer dan 62.500 m\u00b2 zal de nieuwe faciliteit worden gewijd aan een wereldwijde online retailer en maakt het deel uit van een netwerk dat nu meer dan 220.000 m\u00b2 in het Verenigd Koninkrijk omvat, aldus het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<h3>Strategische uitbreiding<\/h3>\n<p>De nieuwe faciliteit is gecertificeerd met het BREEAM-certificaat &#8222;Very Good&#8220; en behoort tot de grootste locaties van ID Logistics UK. Het bevindt zich in een belangrijke logistieke regio van het land, wat de strategische betekenis van de locatie moet onderstrepen. De faciliteit is volgens ID Logistics ontworpen om de opslagruimtes aan te passen aan de specifieke behoeften van de klanten.<\/p>\n<p>Momenteel zijn er al personeelstraining, systeemimplementatie en de installatie van de benodigde uitrusting aan de gang. De ingebruikname van de locatie is gepland voor augustus 2026. In piekperiodes wordt verwacht dat tot 300 medewerkers in de nieuwe faciliteit werkzaam zullen zijn.
