Turkish Cargo heeft zijn IATA CEIV-certificeringen voor speciale vrachtoperaties vernieuwd. Dit betreft de gebieden farmaceutica en gezondheidsproducten, bederfelijke goederen en levende dieren. De vernieuwing van de certificaten, die geldig zijn tot 2029, vond plaats na een succesvolle beoordeling door de International Air Transport Association (IATA).<\/p>\n

De IATA CEIV Pharma-certificering, die Turkish Cargo in 2016 ontving, positioneerde het bedrijf als een van de eerste luchtvrachtleveranciers die voldoet aan internationale normen voor het transport van farmaceutica en gezondheidsproducten. In 2020 was Turkish Cargo de eerste luchtvaartmaatschappij die gelijktijdig de certificeringen voor CEIV Pharma, CEIV Fresh en CEIV Live Animals verkreeg. Met de vernieuwing van de certificaten toont het bedrijf opnieuw zijn expertise op het gebied van speciale vrachtoperaties.<\/p>\n

Investeringen in infrastructuur en technologie<\/h3>\n

Ali T\u00fcrk, Chief Cargo Officer van Turkish Airlines, benadrukte het belang van de vernieuwde certificeringen: \u201eFarmaceutica, bederfelijke goederen en levende dieren vereisen de hoogste operationele gevoeligheid. Daarom investeren we continu in onze transportprocessen, evenals in onze infrastructuur, technologische capaciteiten en human resources.\u201d T\u00fcrk voegde eraan toe dat de vernieuwing van de IATA CEIV-certificaten de behaalde normen op het gebied van speciale vrachtoperaties op internationaal niveau bevestigt.<\/p>\n

Brendan Sullivan, Global Head of Cargo bij IATA, benadrukte dat de complexiteit van wereldwijde toeleveringsketens de noodzaak van consistente en betrouwbare normen vergroot. Hij prees Turkish Cargo voor de erkenning van de waarde van de CEIV-certificering en de bevestiging van de inzet om de hoogste normen in de sector te behalen.<\/p>\n

Met meer dan 30 jaar ervaring in de logistiek voor speciale vracht ondersteunt Turkish Cargo de betrouwbare en ononderbroken werking van wereldwijde toeleveringsketens. Dit gebeurt door de kwaliteit en integriteit van temperatuurgevoelige zendingen van de oorsprong tot de uiteindelijke bestemming te waarborgen. Het bedrijf voert gespecialiseerde operaties uit voor farmaceutica en gezondheidsproducten via zijn TK Pharma-netwerk, dat meer dan 200 stations omvat.<\/p>\n

Op het gebied van bederfelijke vracht biedt Turkish Cargo diensten aan via het TK Fresh-product, dat op meer dan 250 oorsprongs- en bestemmingslocaties beschikbaar is. Dit maakt snelle en betrouwbare verbindingen mogelijk tussen productieplaatsen en wereldmarkten.<\/p>\n

Het SMARTIST-terrein op de luchthaven van Istanbul vormt het centrum van de wereldwijde operationele structuur van Turkish Cargo. Het is opnieuw gecertificeerd voor CEIV Fresh, Pharma en Live Animals. De speciaal voor farmaceutica, bederfelijke goederen en levende dieren ontworpen operationele gebieden maken een effici\u00ebnte en gecontroleerde afhandeling van de speciale vrachtprocessen mogelijk. Het Temperature-Controlled Center (TCC) binnen de faciliteit zorgt ervoor dat temperatuurgevoelige zendingen onder gecontroleerde omstandigheden worden beheerd.<\/p>\n

Met de investering in SMARTIST 2.0 plant Turkish Cargo de capaciteit en infrastructuur in de speciale vrachtoperaties verder te verhogen. Na voltooiing van het project wordt een verdrievoudiging van de voor speciale vrachtoperaties bestemde capaciteit verwacht.<\/p>\n

Deze investeringen en ontwikkelingen weerspiegelen zich ook in de wereldwijde marktprestaties van Turkish Cargo. In de afgelopen tien jaar heeft het bedrijf een significante groei in het transport van farmaceutica en gezondheidsproducten gerealiseerd en zijn marktaandeel in de wereldwijde farmaceutische sector van 2% naar 10% verhoogd. Op het gebied van het transport van levende dieren beweert het met een marktaandeel van 12% de leidende positie te hebben onder internationale luchtvrachtleveranciers.<\/p>\n
