Deze beslissing gaat in op 13 juli 2026. Hartmann volgt Kevin A. Krakora op, wiens termijn volgens planning eindigt. Onder Krakora&#8217;s leiding werd met succes een tweejarig programma uitgevoerd dat gericht was op het versterken van de financi\u00eble positie van UniGroup, het verhogen van het eigen vermogen en het bevorderen van het vertrouwen van de aandeelhouders.<\/p>\n<p>Hartmann brengt meer dan 20 jaar ervaring mee in het leiden van complexe organisaties, waaronder in co\u00f6peratieve governance-modellen. Zijn loopbaan omvat functies in de detailhandel, distributie en dienstverlening. Hartmann heeft in het verleden groei gestimuleerd, de operationele prestaties verbeterd en organisaties door belangrijke transformaties geleid, waarbij hij altijd de focus legde op het cre\u00ebren van langdurige waarde.<\/p>\n<p>Gary Quintalino, voorzitter van de raad van bestuur van UniGroup, benadrukte de sterke punten van Hartmann:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201eJohn brengt uitgebreide leiderschapservaring mee, een bewezen vermogen om prestaties te verbeteren en een diepgaand begrip van het co\u00f6peratieve model. We zijn verheugd om hem bij UniGroup te verwelkomen en samen te werken aan de uitvoering van onze strategie om de winstgevendheid en groei van de leden te versterken en de positie van UniGroup als marktleider te versnellen.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Voor zijn benoeming was Hartmann CEO van Ascend Wellness, True Value Company en Mitre 10, evenals Chief Operating Officer van Bed Bath &amp; Beyond en president van buybuy Baby. Daarnaast bekleedde hij leidinggevende posities bij HD Supply, The Home Depot en Cardinal Health. Zijn ervaring in verschillende raden van toezicht van zowel openbaar als priv\u00e9 gefinancierde bedrijven is ook relevant voor zijn nieuwe rol.<\/p>\n<p>Hartmann sprak zich uit over zijn nieuwe functie:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201eUniGroup heeft een sterke basis, een toegewijde raad van bestuur en een getalenteerd leiderschapsteam. Het bedrijf bevindt zich in een financieel sterkere positie en heeft strategische investeringen gedaan in technologie, marketing en verkoop.
