Deze ontwikkelingen werden aangekondigd in het kader van de introductie van het zomer-vluchtplan 2026, dat meer dan 140 dagelijkse vertrekken van Doha naar meer dan 160 bestemmingen wereldwijd omvat.<\/p>\n<p>De luchtvaartmaatschappij uit het Midden-Oosten had zich begin dit jaar ten doel gesteld om tegen medio juni 85% van het oorspronkelijke netwerk te herstellen, nadat een groot deel van de vluchten vanwege regionale verstoringen moest worden opgeschort. Met het bereiken van dit doel ziet de Qatar Airways Group zich goed gepositioneerd voor de volgende groeifase.<\/p>\n<h3>Nieuwe leidinggevende rollen ter ondersteuning van de groei<\/h3>\n<p>De twee nieuw gecre\u00eberde posities, Chief Operating Officer (COO) en Chief Customer Officer (CCO), zijn bedoeld om drie centrale prioriteiten te ondersteunen die de toekomstige ontwikkeling van de groep zullen vormgeven. Deze prioriteiten omvatten &#8222;het bieden van een eersteklas passagierservaring, het uitbreiden van het passagiers- en vrachtaanbod met een moderne vloot, en investeringen in de ontwikkeling en bevordering van medewerkers&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>De Chief Operating Officer zal de operationele functies van de groep onder \u00e9\u00e9n leiding bundelen om verantwoordelijkheid, prestaties en de hoogste veiligheidsnormen te waarborgen. Deze positie wordt bekleed door Abdulla Ali (foto), een Qatarees die eerder als Senior Vice President voor grondafhandeling heeft gewerkt. Ali brengt uitgebreide ervaring mee op het gebied van luchtvaart-, luchthaven- en netwerkoperaties en heeft zich bewezen als leider in hoogpresterende teams.<\/p>\n<p>De Chief Customer Officer zal de merk- en klantcontactpunten onder een geco\u00f6rdineerde focus samenbrengen om consistentie en uitmuntendheid gedurende de gehele klantreis te waarborgen. Deze rol wordt vervuld door Calum Laming, die zowel de Ierse als de Britse nationaliteit heeft en eerder als Chief Customer Officer bij British Airways heeft gewerkt. Laming heeft ook in leidinggevende klantgerichte posities gewerkt bij grote internationale luchtvaartmaatschappijen zoals Etihad Airways en Air New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>Hamad Al-Khater, Chief Executive Officer van de Qatar Airways Group, sprak zich uit over de nieuwe benoemingen:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201eDeze posities zijn cruciaal voor de volgende stappen.
