Deze samenwerking is gericht op het testen van de in het voertuig ge\u00efntegreerde kunstmatige intelligentie (AI) onder re\u00eble omstandigheden. In de eerste fase worden vier voertuigen van de transporteur uitgerust met de Hypermile-oplossing, een slimme snelheidsregelaar die het rijgedrag optimaliseert door de realtime-analyse van wegomstandigheden, topografie, verkeer en voertuiggedrag.<\/p>\n<p>Als deze testfase succesvol verloopt, is Blondel van plan de technologie geleidelijk uit te breiden naar 150 andere voertuigen. De Hypermile-technologie is gebaseerd op moderne sensoren en algoritmen die in staat zijn om rijomstandigheden te voorspellen. In tegenstelling tot traditionele snelheidsregelaars past Hypermile de snelheid van het voertuig aan op basis van verschillende factoren, waaronder het terrein, het verkeer, de vervoerde lading en aanstaande vertragingen.<\/p>\n<h3>Vermindering van brandstofverbruik en emissies<\/h3>\n<p>Volgens Pejvan Beigui, de oprichter en CEO van Konboi, kan het verschil in brandstofverbruik tussen een vrachtwagen met een hoog en een met een laag verbruik oplopen tot 25%. Met Hypermile moet het gemiddelde rijgedrag aanzienlijk worden verbeterd, wat kan leiden tot significante besparingen binnen een vloot. Voor een vrachtwagen die ongeveer 10.000 km per maand rijdt, kan een besparing van 10% op het brandstofverbruik jaarlijks tot 22 ton CO\u2082-uitstoot besparen, afhankelijk van de bedrijfsomstandigheden.<\/p>\n<p>Met deze initiatief positioneert Groupe Blondel zich als een pionier op het gebied van AI-technologie\u00ebn in het wegvervoer. Het bedrijf heeft als doel innovaties te benutten als middel om de energie-effici\u00ebntie, veiligheid en concurrentievermogen te verbeteren, evenals om de milieubelasting te verminderen. CEO J\u00e9r\u00f4me Juteau benadrukt de verantwoordelijkheid van het bedrijf om actief veranderingen in het transport te vorm te geven en niet alleen te reageren.<\/p>\n<h3>Vooruitzicht op autonome voertuigen<\/h3>\n<p>Naast de Hypermile-technologie opent de samenwerking met Konboi de mogelijkheid om een tweede fase van experimentatie met autonome voertuigen te starten. Konboi werkt aan een prototype dat gericht is op het geleidelijk verhogen van het autonomie-niveau van vrachtwagens, met name op autosnelwegen. Hierbij gaat het er niet om de bestuurder te vervangen, maar om een &#8222;uitgebreide mens-techniek-interactie&#8220; te bevorderen. De AI zou bepaalde terugkerende of minder complexe rijsecties kunnen overnemen, terwijl de bestuurder verantwoordelijk blijft voor de eerste en laatste kilometers, evenals voor toezicht en klantinteracties.<\/p>\n<p>Beigui legt uit dat het niet gaat om het volledig vervangen van de mens, maar om het cre\u00ebren van een &#8222;uitgebreide mens-techniek-interactie&#8220;. De AI zou bijvoorbeeld op de snelweg kunnen rijden, zodat de bestuurder zich kan concentreren op de uitdagendere secties.<\/p>\n<p>Konboi, opgericht eind 2019, ontwikkelt oplossingen voor fysieke kunstmatige intelligentie in het wegvervoer. Het team bestaat uit experts op het gebied van autonoom rijden en werkt zowel aan de energieoptimalisatie van voertuigen als aan de geleidelijke automatisering van het rijden.
