Deze overeenkomst, die in juli 2028 van kracht wordt, volgt op het einde van de huidige franchise en loopt tot 2043. Hactl, als grootste onafhankelijke operator van luchtvrachtterminals in Hongkong, zal de positie van de stad als toonaangevend internationaal luchtvaartcentrum blijven versterken.<\/p>\n<p>CEO Frosti Lau benadrukte het belang van het nieuwe contract voor het bedrijf en de luchtvrachtindustrie in Hongkong. &#8222;De ondertekening van deze overeenkomst is een belangrijke stap die onze toewijding aan Hongkong en onze wereldwijde visie onderstreept,&#8220; verklaarde Lau. Hij voegde eraan toe dat Hactl van plan is om minstens 1 miljard HKD (127,6 miljoen USD) te investeren in de modernisering van de infrastructuur, de inzet van nieuwe technologie\u00ebn en de integratie van ESG-principes in alle bedrijfsprocessen. Dit moet helpen om eersteklas diensten te bieden en tegelijkertijd duurzame ontwikkeling te bevorderen.<\/p>\n<h3>Investeringen in de toekomst van de luchtvracht<\/h3>\n<p>Lau sprak optimistisch over de toekomst van de luchtvrachtindustrie, vooral met het oog op de voltooiing van de derde landingsbaan en Terminal 2, evenals andere faciliteiten in het kader van het drie-landingsbaan-systeem. &#8222;Met de sterke steun van de overheid zijn we ervan overtuigd dat we innovatie en duurzaamheid kunnen benutten om de positie van Hongkong als internationaal luchtvaartcentrum in het kader van het Nationale 15e Vijfjarenplan te versterken,&#8220; zei Lau. Hij benadrukte dat luchtvracht een essentieel onderdeel is van de economische ontwikkeling van Hongkong.<\/p>\n<p>Hactl, opgericht in 1976, beheert de hooggeautomatiseerde SuperTerminal 1 met een jaarlijkse capaciteit van 3,5 miljoen ton.
