Ondanks een gematigder verloop van de e-commerce in veel Europese landen rekent CBRE op verder stijgende online-omzetten. Vooral in de sectoren elektronica, gezondheid en schoonheidsverzorging, evenals in de online levensmiddelenhandel, zijn er volgens CBRE groeimogelijkheden.<\/p>\n<h3>Veranderingen in de detailhandel<\/h3>\n<p>De studie benadrukt dat de online handel nog steeds een van de centrale drijfveren voor de vraag naar logistieke ruimtes in Europa blijft. De toenemende verwevenheid van online en offline handel leidt tot een verandering van de eisen aan retailvastgoed. Frank Emmerich, Head of Retail Germany bij CBRE, legt uit: \u201eDe tijd van explosieve groei in de e-commerce is voorbij, maar de structurele trend blijft intact. Voor retailvastgoed betekent dit vooral een sterkere polarisatie van de markt.
