Op 18 juni 2026 opent de haven van Lille zijn deuren voor het publiek in het kader van de tweede editie van de Urban Trails, die in samenwerking met de Banque Alimentaire du Nord wordt georganiseerd. Dit evenement biedt deelnemers de mogelijkheid om de vaak verborgen gebieden van de haven te verkennen en tegelijkertijd bij te dragen aan een sociale initiatief.<\/p>\n

Inzichten in de haven<\/h3>\n

De haven, die normaal gesproken voor logistieke activiteiten wordt gebruikt, wordt op deze dag het decor voor hardlopers en wandelaars. De Urban Trail leidt de deelnemers door verschillende infrastructuren van de haven, die normaal gesproken niet toegankelijk zijn voor het publiek. Dit biedt een unieke kijk op de processen en faciliteiten van de op twee na grootste binnenhaven van Frankrijk.<\/p>\n

Het evenement richt zich op alle ge\u00efnteresseerden, ongeacht leeftijd of fitnessniveau. Of alleen, met vrienden of met het gezin \u2013 iedereen kan deelnemen. De inschrijving is gratis, maar er wordt gevraagd om een donatie van 3 kg houdbare voedingsmiddelen als voorwaarde voor deelname. Deze donaties worden doorgegeven aan partnerorganisaties van de Banque Alimentaire du Nord, die zich inzetten voor mensen in kwetsbare situaties.<\/p>\n

Gemeenschap en samenwerking<\/h3>\n

De organisatie van de Urban Trails gebeurt in nauwe samenwerking met de Banque Alimentaire du Nord, die deel uitmaakt van de gemeenschap van havenbedrijven in Lille. Deze gemeenschap heeft als doel de gevestigde bedrijven op de twaalf havenlocaties te verenigen om gezamenlijke ontwikkelingsprojecten te bevorderen en synergie\u00ebn te cre\u00ebren.<\/p>\n

Het evenement begint om 18:30 uur in de rivierhaven van Lille, en de deelnemers kunnen kiezen tussen een afstand van 4 of 8 km. Hier kunt u zich inschrijven<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ports de Lille, de exploitant van de haven, zet zich in voor de ontwikkeling van logistieke oplossingen in de regio en streeft naar de decarbonisatie van het goederenvervoer. Met een oppervlakte van 300.000 m\u00b2 voor magazijnen, kantoren en bedrijfsruimten draagt de haven bij aan de economische dynamiek en aantrekkelijkheid van de metropoolregio Lille.<\/p>\n
