In deze functie zal Gerbi ook lid worden van de raad van bestuur van het bedrijf, die wordt geleid door Marie-Christine Lombard, de CEO van GEODIS.<\/p>\n<p>Gerbi begon zijn loopbaan in de banksector bij BNP Paribas, voordat hij in 2006 overstapte naar Deloitte als financieel auditor. In 2008 trad hij in dienst bij Saint-Gobain als managementcontroller.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011 kwam Gerbi bij GEODIS, waar hij aanvankelijk als financieel controller voor de regio Amerika werkte. In 2014 werd hij benoemd tot Chief Financial Officer (CFO) van de business unit voor Supply Chain Optimization (SCO). Vanaf 2018 nam hij daarnaast de rol van adjunct EVP van SCO op zich, waar hij verantwoordelijk was voor personeelszaken, IT, klantoplossingen en het beheer van belangrijke klanten. In oktober 2021 werd hij benoemd tot EVP van de SCO-divisie bij GEODIS. Sinds 2024 was hij als CFO van de wereldwijde business unit voor vrachtverzending werkzaam.<\/p>\n<p>Gerbi heeft een ingenieursdiploma van de \u00c9cole des Mines de Nancy en een gespecialiseerde master in internationale financi\u00eble economie van de HEC Business School.<\/p>\n<p>De benoeming van Eric Gerbi vindt plaats in een fase waarin GEODIS zijn positie op de wereldwijde logistieke markt verder wil verstevigen. Het bedrijf is actief in bijna 170 landen en heeft ongeveer 48.000 medewerkers. In 2025 behaalde GEODIS een omzet van 10,6 miljard EUR.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/geodis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
