De gebeurtenis vond plaats tijdens een feestelijke ceremonie, waarbij het vliegtuig in een speciale kleurstelling werd getoond die de betekenis van het evenement onderstreepte. Deze presentatie markeert de eerste onthulling van een nieuwe vliegtuigserie die in Duitsland wordt vervaardigd en zendt een sterk signaal naar de Duitse industrie en de defensiesector.<\/p>\n<h3>Veelzijdige inzetmogelijkheden van de Do228 NXT<\/h3>\n<p>De Do228 NXT is ontworpen als een veelzijdig vliegtuig dat zowel in de civiele als in de militaire sector kan worden ingezet. Tot de mogelijke toepassingen behoren passagiers- en vrachtvervoer, zeeobservatie en medische evacuaties. De nieuwe generatie is gebaseerd op de beproefde technologie van de Dornier 228 en integreert moderne avionica, een ge\u00fcpdatete cabine en een geoptimaliseerd cockpit. Bovendien wordt een betrouwbare en kosteneffici\u00ebnte toeleveringsketen gewaarborgd.<\/p>\n<p>Met een hoge vrachtcapaciteit van meer dan 2.200 kg biedt de Do228 NXT de mogelijkheid om de cabine snel om te bouwen voor vrachtvervoer door de stoelen te verwijderen. De zijdeuren vergemakkelijken het in- en uitladen, terwijl de rechthoekige cabine met een nuttige lengte van meer dan 7 m het transport van volumineuze goederen ondersteunt. Kleinere vrachtstukken kunnen met netten worden beveiligd, terwijl zwaardere goederen op pallets aan de zitrails kunnen worden bevestigd. Deze flexibiliteit maakt de Do228 NXT tot een geschikte oplossing voor transportmissies, ook op kleine en onverharde landingsbanen.
