Zoals de AD Ports Group meldt, dient het bezoek aan de nieuwe multifunctionele terminal ter controle van de processen en systemen die voorbereid zijn voor de aanstaande volledige werking van de terminal.<\/p>\n<p>De Noatum Ports &#8211; Safaga Terminal wordt ge\u00ebxploiteerd op basis van een 30-jarige concessieovereenkomst die in 2023 is ondertekend in samenwerking met de Egyptische Red Sea Ports Authority. Met een oppervlakte van ongeveer 810.000 m\u00b2 en een 1.000 meter lange kade, zal de terminal in staat zijn om tot 450.000 TEU, evenals 5 miljoen ton droge bulk en stukgoederen, 1 miljoen ton vloeibare massa en 50.000 CEUs Ro-Ro vracht te verwerken.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens de AD Ports Group zal de terminal fungeren als de eerste internationaal ge\u00ebxploiteerde haventerminal in de regio Boven-Egypte.
