Dit werd op 3 juni 2026 meegedeeld, nadat alle vereiste overheidsvergunningen waren verleend. Het joint venture wordt uitgevoerd in samenwerking met de Imetame Group, die ook betrokken is bij de ontwikkeling van de nieuwe containerterminal.<\/p>\n<h3>Ontwikkeling van de containerterminal<\/h3>\n<p>De terminal, die strategisch gelegen is in Aracruz in de staat Esp\u00edrito Santo, is volgens HGT ontworpen om grote containerschepen af te handelen. Het zal fungeren als een overslagcentrum voor de buitenlandse handel en biedt toegang tot de oostkust van Brazili\u00eb. De geplande ingebruikname van de terminal staat voor medio 2028 op de agenda.<\/p>\n<p>De installatie zal worden uitgerust met een diepgang van 17 meter en een kade van 750 meter. De jaarlijkse capaciteit van de terminal wordt door HGT geschat op ongeveer 1,2 miljoen TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units). Het partnerschap tussen HGT en de Imetame Group werd in december 2025 overeengekomen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hanseaticglobalterminals.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
