Dit project maakt deel uit van een initiatief dat volgens een mededeling van het bedrijf is begroot op 60 miljoen dollar en gericht is op het verhogen van de effici\u00ebntie en het uitbreiden van de capaciteit voor voertuigtransporten.<\/p>\n<h3>Vooruitgang bij de bouw van de ligplaats<\/h3>\n<p>De nieuwe ligplaats 21 zal de derde voertuigligplaats op Blount Island zijn. De voltooiing is gepland voor begin 2027. Hij wordt nabij de bestaande ligplaats 20 gebouwd en zal een korte dam delen die verbonden is met de voertuig-First-parkeerplaatsen bij de terminal. Deze uitbreiding moet de operationele flexibiliteit van voertuigtransporten vergroten.<\/p>\n<p>De vooruitgang bij de bouw van ligplaats 21 volgt op de voltooiing van de uitbreiding van ligplaats 22, die volgens het bedrijf nu in staat is om grotere voertuigschepen met een totale lengte van tot ongeveer 750 voet (ca. 229 m) te ontvangen. De twee projecten samen moeten de scheepsafhandelingscapaciteit bij de terminal verbeteren en tegelijkertijd effici\u00ebnte processen voor de klanten in voertuigtransport waarborgen.<\/p>\n<p><a
