Deze oproep komt voort uit het IATA-FIATA Consultative Council (IFCC) en betreft resolutie 801c, artikel 4.2. De wijzigingen zullen op 1 juli 2026 van kracht worden.<\/p>\n<p>In een verklaring uit de vereniging van internationale expediteursverenigingen haar bezorgdheid over de onvoldoende consultatie met betrekking tot de juridische, operationele en verzekeringsaspecten van de voorgestelde maatregelen. De organisatie wijst erop dat er onder de actoren in de sector groeiende juridische onzekerheden bestaan en dat stabiliteit in een reeds verstoorde wereldwijde luchtvrachtmarkt noodzakelijk is. De FIATA vraagt om een herziening van de wijzigingen om een gestructureerde herbeoordeling door de sector mogelijk te maken.
