Welcome Airport Services heeft op de luchthaven Warschau (WAW) een nieuwe terminal voor de afhandeling van vracht geopend. De terminal Cargo 3, die aan de bestaande faciliteit Cargo 2 is gebouwd, biedt een oppervlakte van 3.000 m\u00b2 en is via een verbindingsgang met de vorige terminal verbonden.<\/p>\n

Uitbreiding van de opslagcapaciteiten<\/h3>\n

Met de opening van Cargo 3 verdubbelt de huidige opslagruimte van Welcome Cargo naar in totaal 6.500 m\u00b2 op de Chopin-luchthaven. De nieuwe hal is volledig geconditioneerd, wat een extra voordeel biedt voor de opslag van temperatuurgevoelige goederen. Rados\u0142aw \u017buk, vice-president van Welcome Airport Services, benadrukt: \u201eDe opening van het nieuwe gebouw Cargo 3 is voor ons een belangrijke stap in de ontwikkeling. Dankzij de nieuwe infrastructuur kunnen we onze klanten een grotere, moderne opslagruimte aanbieden en zo comfortabelere voorwaarden voor de afhandeling cre\u00ebren.\u201d<\/p>\n

De vraag naar vrachtafhandeling op de grootste luchthaven van Polen is de afgelopen jaren toegenomen. Volgens Welcome is het vrachtvolume dat in 2025 werd afgehandeld, in vergelijking met het voorgaande jaar met meer dan 20% gestegen. De nieuwe hal moet de operationele mogelijkheden van het bedrijf uitbreiden en een snellere en effici\u00ebntere afhandeling van goederen mogelijk maken.<\/p>\n

Geplande uitbreidingen<\/h3>\n

Naast de opening van Cargo 3 wordt dit jaar ook de grootste terminal, Cargo 4, in gebruik genomen. Deze bevindt zich aan de Kinetyczna-straat en zal de opslagruimte verhogen naar in totaal 16.500 m\u00b2. De bouw is al voltooid, er moet alleen nog de noodzakelijke infrastructuur worden afgerond om Cargo 4 met de luchthaven te verbinden.<\/p>\n

De uitbreidingen van de opslagcapaciteiten maken deel uit van de strategie van Welcome Airport Services om te voldoen aan de groeiende eisen van de markt en de servicekwaliteit voor de klanten te verbeteren.<\/p>\n
