Zoals het bedrijf op 26 mei 2026 meedeelde, is er een koopovereenkomst ondertekend voor vier extra A350F-vrachtvliegtuigen. Eerder had Air China Cargo al in november 2025 zes A350F-vrachtvliegtuigen besteld.<\/p>\n<h3>Strategische beslissing voor vlootoptimalisatie<\/h3>\n<p>Wang Hongyan, vice-president van Air China Cargo, verklaarde dat deze extra bestelling een cruciale strategische beslissing voor het bedrijf vertegenwoordigt om de vlootstructuur verder te optimaliseren en de transportcapaciteiten uit te breiden. Dit stelt het in staat om beter in te spelen op de eisen van de internationale luchtvrachtmarkt en legt een solide basis voor de langdurige stabiele ontwikkeling van het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<p>Beno\u00eet de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry, Executive Vice President Sales van Airbus voor de commerci\u00eble luchtvaart, sprak ook positief over de beslissing van Air China Cargo om de bestelling te verhogen. Hij benadrukte dat dit het vertrouwen van het bedrijf in de producten van Airbus weerspiegelt en de leidende positie van de A350F als next-generation vrachtvliegtuig bevestigt.<\/p>\n<p>Air China Cargo is eind 2023 begonnen met de introductie van Airbus-vrachtvliegtuigen en exploiteert momenteel een vloot van acht Airbus A330-200P2F. In de nabije toekomst zal het A350F-vrachtvliegtuig de vloot aanvullen en de voordelen van de A330-200P2F-vrachtvliegtuigen op langeafstand- en middellange tot langeafstandsroutes maximaliseren.<\/p>\n<h3>Technische kenmerken van de A350F<\/h3>\n<p>De A350F is ontworpen als het meest geavanceerde vrachtvliegtuig ter wereld en voldoet aan de veranderende eisen van de wereldwijde luchtvrachtmarkt. Met een bereik van tot 8.700 km en een laadvermogen van tot 111 ton stelt het operators in staat om het op internationale langeafstandsvluchten in te zetten. De A350F bestaat voor meer dan 70% uit geavanceerde materialen en is 46 ton lichter dan vergelijkbare vliegtuigen.<\/p>\n<p>Aangedreven door de nieuwste Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97-motoren biedt het vliegtuig een vermindering van het brandstofverbruik en de koolstofemissies van tot 20% in vergelijking met eerdere generaties met een vergelijkbaar laadvermogen-bereik-capaciteit. Bovendien voldoet de A350F als enige vrachtvliegtuig volledig aan de CO\u2082-emissienormen van de ICAO voor 2027.
