Het doel van het project is de ontwikkeling van een schaalbaar model voor de exploitatie van batterij-elektrische voertuigen (BEV) langs een 1.250 km lange rondweg, die wordt beschouwd als een van de langste BEV-corridors in Europa.<\/p>\n<h3>Pilotfase ter evaluatie van de haalbaarheid<\/h3>\n<p>De samenwerking begon met een pilotfase aan het begin van 2026, die gericht is op het beoordelen van de operationele en financi\u00eble haalbaarheid van BEV in geselecteerde transportstromen. De LOTS Group maakt gebruik van een AI-gestuurd logistiek platform genaamd Pathfinder om routes, laadinfrastructuur, transportgegevens en operationele beperkingen te analyseren. Door middel van scenario-modellering en data-analyse kunnen de partners verschillende elektrificatiestrategie\u00ebn evalueren, implementatierisico&#8217;s verminderen en praktische plannen voor de invoering ontwikkelen.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f8ren Back Pedersen, Senior Director voor Marktlogistiek en Inkoop bij VELUX, benadrukt de noodzaak om de overgangen naar emissievrije transporten zowel ambitieus als praktisch te maken. Hij legt uit: \u201eDoor de planningscapaciteiten van LOTS Group te combineren met onze eigen transportstromen, kunnen we beoordelen hoe elektrische vrachtwagens in ons netwerk kunnen worden ge\u00efntegreerd, terwijl we de vereiste betrouwbaarheid en flexibiliteit behouden.\u201c<\/p>\n<h3>Integratie van AI en data-analyse<\/h3>\n<p>Max Blatt, Managing Director van de LOTS Group, benadrukt dat de initi\u00eble pilotfase het mogelijk heeft gemaakt om echte logistieke stromen te analyseren en te evalueren hoe de elektrificatie in de praktijk kan functioneren. Op basis van deze inzichten wordt het project nu uitgebreid om te onderzoeken hoe AI-gestuurde logistieke planning, data en ge\u00eblektrificeerde transporten VELUX kunnen ondersteunen bij het verminderen van de emissies in het hele netwerk.<\/p>\n<p>Nadia M\u00f8llebjerg, Senior Program Manager voor Logistiek en Duurzaamheid bij VELUX, wijst erop dat de vermindering van emissies in de transportsector een centraal onderdeel is van de klimaatstrategie van het bedrijf. Ze legt uit: \u201eDoor samen te werken met LOTS Group kunnen we echte logistieke gegevens gebruiken om beter te begrijpen waar elektrificatie waarde kan cre\u00ebren en hoe deze kan worden ge\u00efmplementeerd om zowel onze duurzaamheidsdoelen als onze operationele prestaties te ondersteunen.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>De VELUX Group streeft ambitieuze klimaatdoelen na en zoekt actief naar oplossingen voor emissiereductie in de gehele waardeketen.
