De resultaten tonen significante verschillen in de aanleverprocessen, de uitdagingen en de technologische prioriteiten van beide markten.<\/p>\n<h3>Leveringsvertragingen in de schijnwerpers<\/h3>\n<p>De enqu\u00eate toonde aan dat in de DACH-regio geen enkel bedrijf rapporteert over volledig geplande leveringen. Meer dan de helft van de ondervraagde bedrijven ervaart vertragingen bij tot 50 procent van de transporten, terwijl 14 procent zelfs nog hogere percentages aangeeft. Ter vergelijking meldt 44 procent van de Amerikaanse bedrijven vertragingen bij minder dan tien procent van de aankomsten. Geen enkel bedrijf in de VS geeft aan dat meer dan 50 procent van alle vrachtwagens te laat aankomt.<\/p>\n<p>De oorzaken van deze vertragingen zijn in beide regio&#8217;s vergelijkbaar. Onverwachte verstoringen in het proces worden door 66 procent van de respondenten als belangrijkste oorzaak genoemd. In de DACH-regio zijn echter interne knelpunten sterker aanwezig: 64 procent van de respondenten wijst op ontbrekende personele of technische capaciteiten als reden, terwijl dit percentage in de VS op 45 procent ligt. Andere problemen zoals ongeco\u00f6rdineerde vrachtwagenaankomsten en onnauwkeurige tijdvensters worden ook in beide regio&#8217;s als relevant beschouwd.<\/p>\n<h3>Digitalisering en de obstakels<\/h3>\n<p>De digitalisering in het Yard Management vordert, maar de obstakels verschillen tussen de twee markten. In de DACH-regio maakt 59 procent van de bedrijven al actief gebruik van een Yard Management-software, terwijl dit percentage in de VS op 64 procent ligt. In de VS zijn bovendien 12 procent van de bedrijven van plan deze technologie op middellange termijn in te voeren. De grootste hindernissen voor de digitalisering in de DACH-regio zijn ontbrekende interne capaciteiten (48 procent) en integratievragen (27 procent). In de VS zijn daarentegen budgetbeperkingen (47 procent) en onduidelijke businesscases (39 procent) vaker voorkomende uitdagingen.<\/p>\n<p>De doelen die bedrijven met een Yard Management-systeem nastreven, tonen ook verschillen. In de DACH-regio ligt de nadruk op operationele effici\u00ebntie: 77 procent van de respondenten wil doorlooptijden en wachttijden verkorten, terwijl in de VS naast een betere planbaarheid van de aanvoer (70 procent) ook de vermindering van standgelden (62 procent) en meer transparantie over processen (59 procent) centraal staan.<\/p>\n<h3>Verschillende eisen aan moderne systemen<\/h3>\n<p>De eisen aan moderne Yard Management-systemen vari\u00ebren ook. In de DACH-regio staan functies die de operationele dagelijkse gang vergemakkelijken centraal. 65 procent van de respondenten noemt mobiele aanmeldingen, 63 procent self-check-in-functies en 60 procent de automatisering van processen. In de VS zijn daarentegen meer verbonden sturingsfuncties van belang, zoals de communicatie met chauffeurs (66 procent) en interfaces naar telematica-platforms (58 procent).<\/p>\n<p>De prioriteiten voor de komende vijf jaar tonen ook verschillende benaderingen. Amerikaanse bedrijven hechten veel waarde aan mobiele bedienbaarheid (77 procent), cloud-architecturen (75 procent) en AI-gebaseerde optimalisatie (71 procent). In de DACH-regio zijn deze waarden aanzienlijk lager, waarbij 61 procent mobiele bedienbaarheid en 49 procent integratie noemt.<\/p>\n<p>Oliver Graf, productmanager bij INFORM, commentarieert de resultaten: \u201eBedrijven in de DACH-regio en de VS volgen verschillende ontwikkelingspaden, maar in beide markten groeit het belang van een betrouwbare sturing van het yard. Hoe dynamischer leveringen, middelen en operationele prioriteiten worden, des te belangrijker is een gezamenlijk overzicht dat richting geeft en betrouwbare beslissingen mogelijk maakt.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>De enqu\u00eate \u201eHoe slim is uw yard? Optimalisatiepotentieel in het Yard Management\u201c werd eind 2025 uitgevoerd en omvatte 214 vak- en leidinggevenden uit de logistiek, industrie en handel in DACH en de VS.
