Het rapport toont aan dat er in de afgelopen week geen nieuwe kandidaten voor herverwerking in omloop waren, dat er geen schepen voor India beschikbaar waren en dat Pakistan slechts \u00e9\u00e9n schip verwachtte.<\/p>\n<p>Het rapport wijst erop dat recyclers nog steeds bereid zijn om te kopen, maar dat de eigenaren blijven zoeken naar zakelijke redenen om oudere schepen operationeel te houden. De studie waarschuwt bovendien dat er verdere knelpunten kunnen ontstaan bij de LNG-tonnage die de recyclingmarkt kan bereiken, wat nu langer kan duren dan verwacht, aangezien LNG-transporters met stoomturbines profiteren van de huidige gasengrepen, hoge huurprijzen en een tekort aan beschikbare LNG-schepen.<\/p>\n<p>Wirana Shipping CEO Rakesh Khetan (op de afbeelding) merkte op dat &#8222;vrachtinkomsten, tweedehandswaarden en geopolitieke verstoringen beslissingen aan het einde van de levenscyclus vertragen.
