CKS is een dochteronderneming van de Guangdong Provincial Port &amp; Shipping Group Company Limited. De twee bedrijven hebben afgesproken een samenwerkingskader te cre\u00ebren dat is gebaseerd op wederzijds voordeel, complementaire sterkte en gezamenlijke ontwikkeling. Het doel is om de elektrificatie van het watertransport in Hongkong te bevorderen. Het MoU vormt de basis voor verdere uitwisselings- en zakelijke mogelijkheden.<\/p>\n<h3>Focus op milieuvriendelijke technologie\u00ebn<\/h3>\n<p>In het kader van het MoU zullen de twee partijen diepgaand overleg voeren, gericht op de koolstofarme transformatie van de scheepvaartsector. De nadruk ligt op de bouw van elektrische schepen, technologische innovaties en de opbouw van laad- en batterijwisselnetwerken bij de terminals in Guangdong en Hongkong. Daarnaast willen beide partijen informatie uit de sector uitwisselen en gezamenlijk relevante politieke en technische ontwikkelingen verkennen.<\/p>\n<p>Vincent Ni, de algemeen directeur van Wah Kwong NatPower, benadrukte de noodzaak om sectorbrede samenwerkingsmechanismen op te zetten om concepten van koolstofarme transformatie om te zetten in tastbare resultaten. Hij verklaarde dat de elektrificatie van het watertransport een systematische onderneming is die een nauwe co\u00f6rdinatie langs de gehele waardeketen vereist. De samenwerking met CKS weerspiegelt een gezamenlijke visie voor de ontwikkeling van de elektrificatie van watertransport in Hongkong en de Greater Bay Area.
