Dit netwerk verenigt vier logistieke bedrijven uit Emilia-Romagna om het goederenvervoer per spoor te bevorderen. Naast Interporto Bologna SpA behoren ook Dinazzano Po SpA, SAPIR SpA en Rail Traction Company SpA tot de oprichters.<\/p>\n<p>Het doel van het initiatief is om de transportvolumes per spoor in Emilia-Romagna te verdubbelen. In de afgelopen jaren is er een afname van de spoorverkeersstromen naar de regionale terminals waarneembaar, die is gedaald van 21,8 miljoen ton in 2022 naar 19,2 miljoen ton in 2024. Dit gebeurt in een nationale context waarin het goederenvervoer per spoor in 2025 met in totaal 3,7% is afgenomen.<\/p>\n<h3>Synergie\u00ebn en concurrentievermogen<\/h3>\n<p>Het netwerkcontract voorziet in een versterkte samenwerking tussen de betrokken bedrijven, die elk over specifieke competenties op het gebied van intermodaal vervoer beschikken. Het doel is om uniforme en concurrerender diensten aan te bieden voor de gevestigde bedrijven. ROLER streeft ernaar Emilia-Romagna te positioneren als een strategische knooppunt tussen Centraal-Europa en de havens van de Tyrreense en Adriatische Zee. Dit moet worden ondersteund door gezamenlijke commerci\u00eble activiteiten en een gestructureerde dialoog met regionale instellingen, evenals de Autorit\u00e0 di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Centro Settentrionale.<\/p>\n<p>Interporto Bologna speelt een centrale rol in dit project. De daar gevestigde bedrijven genereren een omzet van meer dan 1,5 miljard EUR en cre\u00ebren ongeveer 11.970 arbeidsplaatsen, waaronder 6.970 directe en indirecte banen, evenals dagelijks 5.000 vrachtwagenchauffeurs. Dit benadrukt het belang van logistiek voor de economische structuur van de regio.<\/p>\n<p>Stefano Caliandro, voorzitter van Interporto Bologna SpA, benadrukt: \u201eDit netwerkcontract is een concrete stap ter bevordering van de intermodaliteit in Emilia-Romagna. Gezien de nationale afname van het goederenvervoer per spoor in 2025 is deze alliantie een toekomstgerichte beslissing: het versterkt de verbindingen met de haven van Ravenna en de Brenner en bereidt de weg voor de nieuwe terminal in 2027, die over vijf sporen van 750 m en twee portaalkranen zal beschikken.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>De oprichting van ROLER maakt deel uit van een middellange tot lange termijnperspectief, dat ook de lopende infrastructuurinvesteringen in overweging neemt. De voor 2027 geplande nieuwe terminal zal een significante kwalitatieve verbetering van de operationele capaciteit van Interporto en de gehele logistieke keten in de regio vertegenwoordigen.
