De spoorlijn zal worden uitgerust met een gecombineerd enkelsporige ontwerp, dat zowel normaal- als breedspoor mogelijk maakt, aldus het nieuwsportal. In totaal zijn er 760 T-balken langs de route voorzien. De voltooiing en inbedrijfstelling van de spoorlijn zijn gepland voor het jaar 2027. De installatie moet een jaarlijkse vrachtcapaciteit van 30 miljoen ton bieden, wat de infrastructurele verbinding tussen China en Mongoli\u00eb moet verbeteren en de economische samenwerking moet bevorderen.<\/p>\n<p>Echter, volgens <em>China Daily<\/em> staat het project voor technische uitdagingen: de bouwwerkzaamheden vinden plaats in de ruige Gobi-woestijn, die wordt gekenmerkt door frequente stofstormen en het hele jaar door aanhoudende stormen. Deze omstandigheden zouden het optillen en installeren van de balken op grote hoogte bemoeilijken. Tot nu toe is ongeveer 26% van de onderconstructie voltooid en zijn er 268 T-balken vervaardigd.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ceic.com\/gjnyjtwwEn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
