Deze nieuwe dochteronderneming heeft als doel het aanbod op het gebied van grensoverschrijdende logistiek en douanediensten uit te breiden, met een specifieke focus op eCommerce-klanten. GlobeCross streeft ernaar om in een steeds complexer handelsklimaat snellere en planbare oplossingen te bieden die voldoen aan de wettelijke vereisten.<\/p>\n<p>GlobeCross combineert digitale eCommerce-logistieke expertise met meer dan twee decennia ervaring in douaneafhandeling. Het bedrijf positioneert zich als een ge\u00efntegreerde partner voor de grensoverschrijdende goederenstroom en hecht waarde aan digitalisering, transparantie en schaalbare end-to-end-oplossingen. De naam GlobeCross weerspiegelt het internationale bereik en het vermogen om geografische en regelgevende grenzen te overwinnen om naadloze logistieke stromen te cre\u00ebren.<\/p>\n<h3>Strategische richting en klantfocus<\/h3>\n<p>Volgens Ashwin Bhat, CEO van Lufthansa Cargo, vertegenwoordigt de oprichting van GlobeCross een belangrijke stap om klanten oplossingen te bieden die verder gaan dan de klassieke luchthaven-tot-luchthaven transport. De fusie van de twee bedrijven moet de douane-expertise bundelen met digitale eCommerce-oplossingen en een ge\u00efntegreerd platform voor grensoverschrijdende pakketlogistiek cre\u00ebren. Bhat benadrukt dat dit de marktpositie van Lufthansa Cargo zal versterken en de processen voor klanten transparanter zal maken.<\/p>\n<p>Voor de bestaande klanten van heyworld en CB Customs Broker blijft alles in de operationele dagelijkse gang van zaken ongewijzigd. Contracten, contactpersonen en diensten blijven bestaan. Tegelijkertijd profiteren de klanten van een ge\u00efntegreerde structuur die kortere besluitvormingsprocessen en een snellere implementatie van op maat gemaakte oplossingen mogelijk maakt. Nikola Todic, Managing Director van GlobeCross, legt uit dat de fusie gericht is op het eenvoudiger en betrouwbaarder maken van grensoverschrijdende logistiek.<\/p>\n<p>Het dienstenportfolio van GlobeCross is gebaseerd op drie centrale pijlers: end-to-end eCommerce-logistiek, eCommerce-importterminals en digitale douaneafhandeling. Deze componenten zijn bedoeld om de complexiteit te verminderen, de processen te versnellen en volledige transparantie te waarborgen. Murat Odabas, ook Managing Director van GlobeCross, benadrukt dat de focus ligt op betrouwbaarheid en planbaarheid, vooral in een snel veranderende omgeving.<\/p>\n<p>GlobeCross hanteert een asset-light model dat zich richt op software, processen en expertise, in plaats van op fysieke infrastructuur.
