Deze ontwikkeling wordt toegeschreven aan een uitdagende bedrijfsomgeving, gekenmerkt door geopolitieke spanningen in het Midden-Oosten en seizoensgebonden effecten. Terwijl Afrika met een stijging van precies 7% de beste prestaties liet zien, registreerde het Midden-Oosten een dramatische daling van 54,3%.<\/p>\n<h3>Internationale vrachtstromen onder druk<\/h3>\n<p>Het internationale luchtvrachtverkeer daalde met 5,5% op jaarbasis. Vooral de luchtvaartmaatschappijen in het Midden-Oosten werden hard getroffen, met een daling van 54,2%, wat te wijten is aan een verslechtering van de hub-connectiviteit en de netwerkbetrouwbaarheid. De totale capaciteit van de sector daalde met 4,7%, wat in lijn is met de afnemende vraag. De vrachtlaadfactor bleef stabiel op 47,9%.<\/p>\n<p>De volatiliteit op de energiemarkten was ook significant. De prijs voor Brent steeg met 43,1% op jaarbasis, terwijl de prijs voor kerosine met 106,6% steeg en daarmee het hoogste niveau in meer dan 23 jaar bereikte. Deze ontwikkelingen leidden tot een stijging van de vrachttarieven met 18,9% in een inflatiegedreven prijsomgeving.<br \/>\n&lt;h3Regionale verschillen in de vrachtprestaties<\/p>\n<p>De regionale prestaties op de luchtvrachtmarkt waren ongelijkmatig. Terwijl Afrika, Azi\u00eb-Pacific, Europa en Latijns-Amerika gematigde groeipercentages registreerden, konden deze de dramatische dalingen in het Midden-Oosten niet compenseren. De Afrikaanse luchtvaartmaatschappijen boekten de sterkste groei, ondersteund door omleidingsverkeer. In Europa (+2,2%) en Latijns-Amerika (+1,8%) waren er kleinere stijgingen, terwijl Noord-Amerika (-1,1%) licht terugviel, wat wijst op een zwakkere transatlantische dynamiek.<\/p>\n<p>De situatie in het Midden-Oosten vormde de grootste belemmering voor de prestaties van de sector. De daling van 54,3% in CTK (Cargo Tonne-Kilometers) benadrukt de ernstige gevolgen van het conflict voor de hub-connectiviteit en de bezettingsgraad van vliegtuigen.<\/p>\n<h3>Internationale trends en routeanalyses<\/h3>\n<p>De internationale vrachtnoden vertoonden een duidelijke geografische ongelijkheid. Terwijl de markten in Afrika en Azi\u00eb-Pacific (+5,5%) toenamen, leden de luchtvaartmaatschappijen in het Midden-Oosten de grootste daling. De routeanalyse onthulde dat de verbinding Europa-Azi\u00eb met een stijging van 14,2% de sterkste prestaties vertoonde, terwijl de Golf-verbonden handelsroutes onder druk stonden.<\/p>\n<p>De vraag naar vrachtvliegtuigen bleek veerkrachtiger dan de vraag naar passagiersvracht, die met 12,1% daalde. Dit toont aan dat vrachtvliegtuigen profiteerden van operationele flexibiliteit en omleidingsstromen op lange corridors, vooral in de Aziatische handel, opvingen.<\/p>\n<h3>Vooruitzichten en economische randvoorwaarden<\/h3>\n<p>De prijzen voor kerosine stegen in maart sterk, wat de economische haalbaarheid in de luchtvrachtsector aanzienlijk onder druk zette. De wereldwijde productie-indices tonen aan dat de industri\u00eble activiteit zich nog steeds in het expansiegebied bevindt, maar dat de dynamiek in vergelijking met de voorgaande maanden afneemt.
