De focus ligt op een 2-assige afrolkipper, die is uitgerust met twee gedwongen gestuurde SAF-trailerassen. Deze constructie moet de wendbaarheid op smalle boswegen verbeteren. De ontwikkeling is gerealiseerd in samenwerking met de Oostenrijkse bosondernemer Johannes Suntinger, zoals SAF Holland meldt.<\/p>\n<p>De eisen die het transport van houtsnippers uit het bos aan de voertuigen stelt, waren het uitgangspunt voor de ontwikkeling van dit speciale voertuig. De combinatie van de gedwongen gestuurde stuurassen van SAF en het elektrohydraulische stuursysteem VSE Advanced Steering moet volgens de fabrikant een verbeterde manoeuvreerbaarheid mogelijk maken. Bovendien moet niet alleen de slijtage van de banden worden verminderd, maar ook de economische effici\u00ebntie in gebruik worden verhoogd.
