Tijdens het afsluitende colloquium in Straatsburg (Frankrijk) benadrukten vertegenwoordigers van de havens, de wetenschap en de politiek het grote belang van gezamenlijke maatregelen voor een veerkrachtige binnenvaart.<\/p>\n<p>Het \u00abProject Crane\u00bb analyseerde gedurende drie jaar klimaatgerelateerde risico&#8217;s zoals hitte, lage waterstanden, overstromingen en stormen. De basis vormden gegevens over eerdere gebeurtenissen en projecties tot 2100. Hieruit bleek dat vooral havenbanen, overslagterreinen en personeel getroffen zijn, terwijl andere infrastructuur robuuster blijft.<\/p>\n<p>Ongeveer 500 maatregelen werden beoordeeld, waaronder noodplannen, investeringen in veerkrachtige installaties en de uitbreiding van spoorcapaciteiten. Het doel is om de operationele capaciteit ook onder extreme omstandigheden te waarborgen. De samenwerking tussen de havens langs de Rijn wordt hiermee verder versterkt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.strasbourg.port.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
