Volgens een mededeling van TradeWind heeft de gelijktijdige instabiliteit in de Rode Zee ertoe geleid dat twee van de belangrijkste zeewegen geblokkeerd zijn. Dit heeft de containerfrachttarieven op de Azi\u00eb-Europa-route met 70 tot 160 procent doen stijgen, terwijl de transittijden met 10 tot 18 dagen zijn verlengd. De betrouwbaarheid van de transporten is gedaald tot onder de 60 procent.<\/p>\n<h3>Veranderde handelsstromen<\/h3>\n<p>De crisis heeft het begrip van de wereldwijde toeleveringsketens volgens TradeWind fundamenteel veranderd. In 2024 was ongeveer 75 procent van de Europese kledingimporten uit Azi\u00eb getroffen, omdat schepen gedwongen waren om langere en duurdere routes om Afrika heen te nemen. Deze ontwikkelingen leidden ertoe dat Europese kopers steeds meer op zoek gingen naar leveranciers in nabijgelegen regio&#8217;s. Als gevolg hiervan steeg de vraag naar producten uit Turkije met meer dan 50 procent.<\/p>\n<p>Turkije heeft zich volgens TradeWind als alternatief gevestigd. Producten kunnen binnen drie tot vijf dagen per vrachtwagen naar de distributiecentra in Europa worden vervoerd, wat de afhankelijkheid van maritieme knelpunten vermindert. Bovendien profiteren industri\u00eble producten van de douane-unie met de Europese Unie, die een douanevrije toegang mogelijk maakt. In 2025 registreerde Turkije een recordexport van 273 miljard USD.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradewindfinance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
