Deze initiatief is onderdeel van de inzet van het bedrijf voor sociale verantwoordelijkheid en heeft als doel de logistieke infrastructuur voor toegang tot gezondheidsdiensten te versterken in een van de meest complexe humanitaire contexten in de Hoorn van Afrika.<\/p>\n<p>De mobiele kliniek van MSF is ontworpen om te opereren in geografisch achtergestelde en infrastructueel kwetsbare gebieden, waar de toegang tot basisgezondheidsdiensten sterk beperkt is. BRT zal door middel van flexibele transportoplossingen en operationele middelen bijdragen aan het bereiken van deze klinieken in gemeenschappen die anders uitgesloten zouden zijn van primaire gezondheidszorg. Bijzondere aandacht gaat uit naar programma&#8217;s voor preventie, zorg voor moeders en kinderen, en de behandeling van veelvoorkomende ziekten.<\/p>\n<p>De regio Afar wordt getroffen door verschillende crises, waaronder klimatologische uitdagingen, voedselonzekerheid en sociaaleconomische instabiliteit. In deze context is de mogelijkheid om gezondheidsdiensten direct ter plaatse aan te bieden cruciaal voor het behoud van de gezondheidszorg en de bescherming van de openbare gezondheid. Volgens de operationele gegevens van MSF voor 2023\u20132024 bereiken de percentages van acute ondervoeding bij kinderen onder de vijf jaar kritische waarden van 26%, terwijl de toegang tot gezondheidsinstellingen sterk beperkt blijft.<\/p>\n<p>De samenwerking tussen BRT en MSF is gebaseerd op de erkenning dat de effectiviteit van humanitaire interventies ook afhangt van de robuustheid van de logistieke infrastructuur. De ondersteuning van BRT is bedoeld om de operationele effici\u00ebntie en de continu\u00efteit van gezondheidsinterventies in moeilijk bereikbare gebieden te waarborgen.<\/p>\n<p>Laura Perrotta, Fundraising Director van Medici Senza Frontiere Itali\u00eb, benadrukt dat het versterken van de logistiek een sleutel is tot het behoud van de effectiviteit van de interventies ter plaatse. &#8222;Mobiele klinieken zijn een essentieel instrument om bevolkingsgroepen te bereiken die buiten traditionele gezondheidssystemen leven.
