Het transport omvatte zes grote secties, waarbij de zwaarste sectie een gewicht van tot 152 ton had. Deze brug wordt gebouwd in het kader van het Slussen-project, dat de brug twee stadsdelen van de Zweedse hoofdstad met elkaar moet verbinden. Het transport benadrukt de mogelijkheden die de havenfaciliteiten van Stockholm bieden voor een transport rechtstreeks naar het stadscentrum, zoals de havens van Stockholm melden.<\/p>\n<p>Op 12 april bereikte het schip &#8222;Commander 1&#8220;, dat de bark &#8222;Carrier 17&#8220; sleepte, de haven van Frihamnen in Stockholm. De geleverde brugsecties hadden afmetingen tussen 9 \u00d7 15 meter en 25 \u00d7 10 meter, met een totale lengte van 230 meter. Om de onderdelen verder naar het Slussen-project te brengen, werden ze met een maritieme kraan genaamd &#8222;Lodbrok&#8220; op grote pontons geheven.<\/p>\n<p>Het zeetransport van deze brugonderdelen vormt volgens de havens van Stockholm een effici\u00ebnte en duurzame oplossing, aangezien het de vracht rechtstreeks naar Stockholm en verder naar de eindbestemming binnen de stad brengt.
