Dit project wordt gerealiseerd in samenwerking met het bedrijf Mecalux en heeft als doel de Europese distributie van het bedrijf te centraliseren. Het nieuwe hoogbouwmagazijn zal een capaciteit van 40.000 pallets bieden en maakt deel uit van een uitgebreide strategie om de toeleveringsketen te optimaliseren, zoals Mecalux onlangs heeft meegedeeld.<\/p>\n<p>De beslissing om het magazijn te bouwen is gericht op het bundelen van het volledige productassortiment van Thule voor de Europese markt, terwijl tegelijkertijd de mogelijkheid wordt gecre\u00eberd om ook internationale markten te bedienen. Volgens Pawe\u0142 P\u0119piak, de hoofd van het distributiecentrum, zal de automatisering van de logistieke processen bijdragen aan het verhogen van de productiviteit en het effici\u00ebnter benutten van de opslagruimte. &#8222;De automatisering zal invloed hebben op de kosteneffici\u00ebntie en de processen versnellen om een betere service te bieden en de klanttevredenheid te verhogen,&#8220; aldus P\u0119piak.<\/p>\n<h3>Details over de magazijninfrastructuur<\/h3>\n<p>Het nieuwe magazijn zal worden gebouwd in silobouw en omvat rekken met een breedte van 51 m, een lengte van 135 m en een hoogte van 42 m. Zes automatische opslag- en ophaalsystemen, die zijn ontworpen voor dubbele diepte, zullen in de installatie worden gebruikt. Het magazijn zal bovendien worden uitgerust met een temperatuur- en vochtigheidscontrolesysteem.
