De exploitant in het gecombineerde vervoer voor opleggers op het spoor breidt daarmee zijn aanbod tussen Duitsland en Itali\u00eb over de Zwitserse Alpen uit. Deze initiatief volgt op de in januari gestarte verbinding tussen Luik en Domodossola.<\/p>\n<h3>Details over de nieuwe verbinding<\/h3>\n<p>De nieuwe verbinding wordt aanvankelijk uitgevoerd met vier wekelijkse ritten, met de verwachting deze aantallen op middellange termijn te verhogen naar vijf ritten per week. De treinen rijden tussen de DUSS-terminal in Kornwestheim, nabij Stuttgart, en de terminal Malpensa Intermodale in het noordwesten van de metropoolregio Milaan. Deze route vervangt de eerder aangeboden lijn tussen Stuttgart-Kornwestheim en Domodossola. CargoBeamer werkt opnieuw samen met SBB Cargo International om de tractie voor deze verbinding te verzorgen.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens CargoBeamer worden bij elke vervoerde oplegger ongeveer 88% van de CO2-uitstoot bespaard in vergelijking met wegvervoer met dieselvrachtwagens. Dit vormt een aanzienlijke milieuwinst die relevant is in de context van de huidige discussies over duurzame transportoplossingen.<\/p>\n<h3>Uitbreiding van het transalpiene netwerk<\/h3>\n<p>Met de nieuwe lijn tussen Stuttgart en Milaan breidt CargoBeamer zijn transalpiene netwerk uit. Deze verbinding maakt het mogelijk om alle soorten opleggers te vervoeren, inclusief gangbare kraanbare eenheden en niet-kraanbare opleggers zoals koel- en boxtrailers, afvaltransporten en containers en wisselcontainers.<\/p>\n<p>De route Stuttgart \u2013 Milaan is de tweede nieuwe relatie die CargoBeamer binnen korte tijd introduceert als directe opvolger van de stopgezette Rollende Landstra\u00dfe tussen Freiburg en Novara. Deze maatregel is gericht op het waarborgen van het vervoer van niet-kraanbare opleggers over de Alpen en het optimaliseren van de logistiek tussen Duitsland, de Benelux-landen en Itali\u00eb.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div class=\"x_x_elementToProof\">Boris Timm, COO van CargoBeamer, legt uit: \u201eNa de zeer succesvolle start van de lijn Luik \u2013 Domodossola ervaren we een sterke dynamiek en een duidelijke vraag naar extra capaciteit in het gecombineerde vervoer tussen Zuidwest-Duitsland en de regio Milaan.
